I agree. I was really skeptical of Dwayne being Lobo, but after seeing him in his WWE days, he's a pretty perfect fit. Hoping he does the people's eyebrow in the film.

i know some people wanted him for black adam but i think black adam has to be more flexible looking. the rock always looked more like captain marvel to me anyway sans bushy eyebrows.

Black Adam happening any time soon seems very unlikely. He'll probably be too old by the time they're thinking about making Shazam.

Somebody should manip Rock as Lobo... C'mon now.

How am I not giving him a chance? I said he isn't the worst choice but I don't believe he is the best by far. He would make my fourth choice at best. I think physically and able to carry an action film The Rock fits fine. But as far as the persona, attitude, and swagger that I imagine Lobo having...my other choices fit MUCH better.

because morgan was the comedian and wore a domino mask? because momoa was drogo? because rourke was anton vanko? none have the charisma (with the exception of rourke) that the rock has for a project like this, and that is important because the general audience doesn't know who the hell lobo is.

1. Nope. I mean yes playing The Comedian did show he is 100% capable of playing a bad ass anti-hero but also because he is a talented actor and has the look and size.

2. Drogo? Is that is character's name in Game of Thrones? I haven't watched a single episode of that show. I just know from what I HAVE seen of him he has the look, the size, the action chops, and the bad ass swagger.

3. Lol. Ivan Vanko? I love Mickey Rourke as an actor but Ivan Vanko was probably one of the most shoddily written villains in the Marvel films. I was a huge fan of Rourke long before Iron Man 2. I would actually say if he were 10-20 years younger he would be PERFECT for Lobo. The only thing I am hesitant about with Rourke is his age but then again I look at Ron Perlman pulling off Hellboy and look how old he is.

The Rock will get the role if he wants it because hes more marketable for a DC character that isnt well known to the public.
