She should appear all Gothic, with pale white skin like Domino in the comics. However I do wonder if the others have "superhero" costumes too.
You’re a mind reader?
Brianna Hildebrand: Yeah. She can see the future, so that’s cool, too. [laughs] I wish I could do that.
Her ability to see the future, does that filter to the storyline?
Brianna Hildebrand: Actually, kind of not really because in this first… at least for now, what she sees is a little bit sarcastic with Deadpool. It’s kind of just her way of getting under Deadpool’s skin. So it wouldn’t really contribute as much, not as much as her power to explode, because she explodes.
How does that work?
Brianna Hildebrand:She runs and explodes at things. She’s like a warhead. So she detonates, I guess would be how to explain it. Doing the training for the running, that was hard because I’m not a runner. I was like, “[gasps for air]. OK, guys!”
I hope she doesn't come across as Yukio 2.0.
With a character this obscure, it honestly doesn't really bother me that they are expanding her power set. I mean her role in the comics was basically to die. I think this is an improvement.t:
Yeah that sounds about right.Thats probably why they picked that one to use. Cant see their being many Negasonic Teenage Warhead fans outraged at her change considering she was in about two comics total.

Also... Something about a girl that can pull off short hair. What a great face, too. Big eyes. Tickling hormones. Must not...touch...me.

People say goth, but it's coming off as a grunge-punk cut. I'm guessing this is the 90s at the very least.
I've already seen a bit of this, yes. But beyond some internet trolling, I think people are going to enjoy this character.Sadly there are those who never heard of the character but will get outraged coz they dared change her :whatever
I went through the list of Marvel characters and picked a few others I thought could be visually spectacular and fun. And at the end of that list was Negasonic, which I just thought was a freaky, funny name. And I sent this list over to the writers, Rhett [Reese] and Paul [Wernick], and they were like, 'Oh my f------ god, we have to use her!' So that’s how she ended up in the movie. Her name was cool, and we kind of wanted a straight-man to play against Colossus. We thought about Cannonball, but he would’ve been a stupid hick character, whereas the guys wrote Negasonic as this deadpan goth teen, which was a great angle. She turned out really well.”
"And then we thought, well, we're going to need to make her powers fit with who she feels like she is in the movie and so to me it's just like other characters in the Marvel universe, like Nitro, for instance, whose power is to just explode parts of their body," Miller stated.
"But we did try to do it so that it wasn't just a simple, 'oh, I can explode', she can transfer the force of the explosion down so she can move upwards - she can put it into a punch if she wanted to. So it was really just her fist exploding as she hit somebody. we tried to mix it up, even though we didn't use that particular thing in the movie, but it was the idea. Actually, we did use it in the movie, it's just not in the movie now!"
I'm in agreement with everyone else about her powers. Couldn't care less about the liberties they've taken with her abilities. Marvel will probably retcon/upgrade the character in the comics, and give her the powers she has in the movies anyway.
