Lol, being one of the physically strongest beings in the MU, I don't think Hulk would have a problem hurting Broly. And even if (and that's a huge IF) he couldn't right away, the frustration and anger would fuel his strength until he started doing some damage.

I believe that the hulk can beat down supes if they were true.

The Hulk could definitely beat Superman, in my opinion. The Hulk has no cap on his strength like Superman does. Eventually, Superman runs out of energy, the Hulk just keeps getting stronger. Every time they have fought, though, rather than being a straight up fight it has always been a popularity contest with Hulk getting outvoted simply because Superman is the more popular character.

Brolly can devistate a galaxy so ya he pretty much can beat down the hulk, superman, or anything else within that caliber. The weird thing is that goku is stronger than this character after ss1.

Yeah, I hear that a lot. In Hulk's defense, though, he endured AND deflected an attack from the Night-Crawler (not Nightcrawler) that was so powerful that it destroyed a realm called the Dark Cosmos.

Brolly lost to guys who had similiar powers and are leagues above hulk, and they all combined their powers into 1 single punch from goku

You need to grow up just a little bit. I didn't make anything up. You just misunderstood me. He gets angrier and his body takes care of the rest. He doesn't "think" about becoming stronger, he gets angry and becomes stronger. That's what I meant by "on the fly". As you fight an opponent that is a good match for you, you're going to get madder and madder, especially if you have the mind of a child Hence, his strength would keep increasing without him having to do anything except be angry. That was the point I was trying to make.

Lol, and if there are characters in DBZ that can just keep making themselves stronger by "willing" it, it sounds like whoever created them spent a lot of time reading Incredible Hulk comics when they were growing up,

The problem with these debates is that all we really have to go on is our own opinions, and those aren't always supported by facts. It's clear that most of the die hard DBZ fans aren't very knowledgable(SP?) about comicbooks, and vice-versa.
Now, I'm not saying I know a whole lot about this "Ki" energy, but Hulk was BORN in the largest nuclear exsplosion Earth has seen before or since, so blowing him up doesn't seem very fatal to me.
Furthermore, I've never seen a DBZ Villian who didn't like to "play with their food", so Broly isn't likely to go SuperSaiyan right away, and that gives Hulk time to "Hulk up". (fans of Hulk Hogan know what that means) So my point is, it seems a little silly to think hulk would just lose without a fight. This would probably be a long, ugly war,(like this thread) going back and forth as both sides keep uping their game. The big edge I give Hulk is that DBZ villians take a long time to tranform and power up to their full potential,(Frieza took 3 episode for each tranfomation) but Hulk powers up steadily as he gets madder, and he's not stupid enough to sit there and let Broly change.(Savage Hulk isn't really stupid, just lacking in education) So Broly's going to keep losing blood, teeth,and energy as an increasingly pwerful Hulk wails on him. Also, Saiyans take MUCH longer to heal than Hulk, and can't adapt as fast, (they get stronger AFTER they heal from a fight, not during it) so there IS a CHANCE Hulk can win, if he just keeps pummeling Broly, and doesn't let him get any time to rest and recover/transform.

I’ve watched just about every episode of DB, DBZ, and DBGT and several movies I even own several uncut Tapes and DVDs. I’ve also been reading comics since 1991 and own over 3345 comics. The Hulk does have enough power to hurt Broly and Broly could hurt the Hulk as well. But what makes you think he can't hurt him? How much do you know about the Hulk? Also which universe would this fight evening be taking place? I’m not saying this getting into an argument with biased people. I’m not evening going to mention whom I think would win.

The hulk has enough power to destory superman. I would agree with you on that even though i know you have your doubts.

A couple of good posts. I like Olds' point about the universes, one I meant to make but don't think I did. I think in DBZ's universe, the Hulk would rank with the best of them, and Broly would probably a very heavy hitter in the MU. I think it's silly for anyone to just assume the Incredible Hulk would not be able to hurt Broly with his punch, a punch that is, if not feared, at least respected by the majority of the MU. If you think it's a toss up, fine, but at least acknowledge both characters' powers for what they are.

You haven't "watched" it in a while? Are you referring to the X-Men TV show? That's not really in any continuity, so it's not a good place to draw your conclusions from. Just the same, though, do you mind explaining why you feel that Hulk wouldn't do any damage when he punched Broly?
