Yeah Foster is a great actor. If only they could map out an Archangel storyline and throw Betsy in a flick with him. You can do some pretty heavy **** with Angel.

Exactly! If he isn't in DoFP, then he would be great for an Age of Apocalypse storyline that follows on from it.

Ben can easily play a badass Archangel.

But for some reason I dont see Fox or Singer doing Ages of Apocalypse. at least not right after DOFP

maybe for 2020 or so :D

Apocalypse could be Foxs answer to Thanos with The Avengers. Building to it for a few year while establishing other X Members and teams. Gotta properly build and get the hype out for something like that ahead of time.

I agree! I call for a recast! Angel should be handsome, kind but with the potential to be downright terrifying:

:oldrazz:

Zac Efron is too cute and not that tall for Angel.

But if they decided to reboot the X-Men series, he could be perfect as Iceman!

If Ben Foster is gonna be in a X-Men movie after DOFP, then he should really appear in DOFP whether its a cameo or a supporting role.

We know that he went to X-Mansion in X3, its not the same case as Nightcrawler (who didn't appear in X-Men 3) and there wouldn't be a needed explanation for the audience on why he is fighting with the X-Men, if he's on DOFP.

It would be a bit questionable, if he was in X3 and X4 and yet he didn't appear in the movie that happened between X3/X4.

And yes, it would be a good idea if they do Age of Apocalypse for the next X-Men movie after DOFP.

Efron is so underrated. Not sure which X-Men he could play, perhaps Bobby. But there are a ton of Marvel characters he's prime for... like Bucky. :(

I still see Efron as my Jay Guthrie/Icarus but I know he'll be too old by the time the role would need casting, if it would ever be used. :csad:

Although he's unlikely to ever do it, it might be cool to have Clint Eastwood as old man Logan for a future scene. However, he never gets involved in mainstream films really, especially those not directed or produced by him in some way.

perfect build up?

Sinister in FC3, X4 as a normal X3 sequel, AND next event movie with Ages of Apocalypse, with Sinister reapearing and Angel becoming Archangel, with ALL the x-men fighting Apocalypse.

Fox should break the 3 years gap if they want to use the original cast two more times.

To this day I don't understand everyone's hard on for Mr. Sinister.

I mean I like the character, but I don't understand why so many clamor to have him.

mainly because he is one of the iconic villains and he is linked to Cyclops and Jean, and of course to Apocalypse.

oh, and linked to Gambit too. They could do many things with Sinister.

But movie-wise, those relationships are just about useless.

I would keep Sinster for 1970's set first Class sequel when they Introduce teenage Cyclops
and teenage Jean Grey.

Am I the only one who found Foster completely boring, wet and completely mediocre? I thought he was an awful Angel.

No, I agree. Foster is one my least favorite casting decisions of the entire franchise.

useless to you in any case, cos Im sure many many fans would love a great arc with them
Not useless to just me. :whatever:
Cyclops was barely used and then "killed", Jean is dead and all her relations were mainly with Logan no enough with Scott, Gambit is part of a bombed movie that even its sequel is ignoring; None of this suggests that Sinister would be the right villain to introduce in any sense.

Only due to the writing. Foster worked with what he was given.

who did say Sinister has to be introduced in our present?

FC series has just started, and if Fox keeps moving with that cast, Sinister is a strong contender. And like some have said, it would be a perfect addition to young Scott and Jean.

If Matthew used Sebastian Shaw recluting Angel on FC the way it was done, Im sure Singer could do something much more appealing and intense with Sinister, young Scott and Jean.

For the last time: Zac Efron is not the answer to all the World's casting problems!!!

So Sentinels are confirmed in Days of Future Past?

You can't have Days of Future Past story without giant robots Sentinels.

I think Mark Millar already said that there will be robots in the movie.

Because Mr. Sinister is one of the most well-known villains in the X-Men Universe besides Magneto & the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, the Hellfire Club and Apocalypse.

if we ever get sinister in a film i would love sinister make up done like prince nuada from hellboy 2
