Burn Notice

So yesterday I asked Matt Nix on his twitter if Natalie Rice (Callie Thorn) would return in a later season & this was his response:

Well, Natalie (Callie Thorne) isn't dead, and she's got a grudge... I'd say it's a strong possibility.

Sounds good to me.

Oh, & this is from the season 3 finale:

Great episode. I usually can't stand Maddie, but this episode, damn...just great. She brought her A-game.

Oh, crap, it's back? Wow, I forgot completely - can't believe I missed it. This was the first of the new season, right?

I adore this show. I loved the episode. & the scene with Michael & his mother arguing was great too.

It was a great episode to kick off the show's return. Can't wait for next week's episode, preview for it was awesome.

The repeat is at 1:00.

I don't think I'll be able to catch it tonight. Luckily, USA either plays it multiple times in the week or I'll catch it on Hulu. Thanks, though.

Michael's gotta be undercover as a hitman. That's the first thing I thought of when I saw that suit. I mean, who else wears a suit with a bright red shirt and tie? :hehe:

The Devil.

Damn, he'd be a good devil.

Well, whoever his cover is, I hope it's not another tobacco dipper. That was nasty last week. :barf:

After last week I was afraid they were going to rehash the 'big bad guy on the cell phone' arc from Season 2, so I'm glad they avoided that trap. And watching Michael channel Clint Eastwood and blow things up was amazing.

The situation and his low voice had me thinking of High Plains Drifter and basically all the nameless cowboy flicks :word:

I'm going to say it. Best Michael cover ID.

Indeed. This cover was just pure bad assery.

That's pretty much exactly what I thought. He must've been inspired by Eastwood on the set of Changeling.

Also, Gilroy makes a good villain, I look forward to seeing where this goes. One thing I'll say, is that I'm glad they have taken a break from the Burn Notice plot and seem to be taking Michael down a different path this season. Instead of trying to find out who burnt him/get back in, he is now stopping a major terrorist. Its an interesting route to go, of course, they can't get too far off of the burn notice plot.

My theory? Gilroy and Strickler work for John Mahoney's character, the boss of Carla's organization and since Michael would not work for them willingly, Mahoney is manipulating Michael into doing his bidding through third parties and the big reveal at the end of the season is going to be that Michael was unwittingly working for them all along.

I loved how Michael's character was magic. That just added such a new level of awesome.

The snapping thing was a nice touch! It was pretty funny seeing the gang leader jump back all "no no wait!" before michael snapped his fingers again :)
