And clearly he would have to mess up one of Mike's plans for the plot to start. Like seeing all the signs of what is about to happen then he gets involved and this is such a huge fanwank right now... :hehe:

Don't forget the little descriptions.

Shawn: "I'm Shawn, and this is my friend, Horatio McFeeley."

Gus: "I'm Gus.

Shawn & Gus
The Clients

Shawn: "I'm also the psychic for the Santa Barbara Police Department."

Mike: "...Really."

Shawn & Gus
Psychic Clients

:D

I lol'd. :woot:

The person in the next office came in wondering what was so funny. She didn't understand. :o

Psych is one of the only other shows that I love as much as Burn Notice.

You should def watch it

Start with season 1 though, that was the best.
I've seen promo's for it, but never caught any of the eps. Dude is like psychic or something and his buddy helps him solve cases. Sounds a lot like Medium.

My buddy has it on DVD. Don't know if he pirated it or not, but I will swing over there and get it.

Actually, he's not psychic. He pretends to be. He's really hyper-observant with a photographic memory. He called in a tip and the police thought he had to be in on the crime, so he lied and said he was psychic. Then he realized he could do that for a living and dragged his best friend along.

Definitely at least check out the pilot. (USA should have it for free streaming on their website)

Psych is very good - but if you wont a more serious bend on the "hyper-aware" The Mentalist on CBS has that.
Personally, I prefer to laugh with Psych but The Mentalist is not bad from the the few episodes I've watched.

Just watched an Episode of Psych that came on USA today. I agree with you, it was very funny. I thought it was more of a drama, but its kind of like a new style comedrama. I will def check out the first season.

I didn't think I was going to like the Mentalist. Sounded like an unfunny rip off of Psych. But it turned out to pretty good and different. And Simon Baker adds the right amount of quirkiness and humor to his role.

Simon Baker is one of those dudes that you like right off the bat. I finally got around to seeing Land of the Dead a month or two ago, and Simon B was probably the best thing about it. I've mangaged to catch a few eps of the Mentalist.. I'll probably end up buying the boxset whenever it comes out.

I can't believe this series hasn't been moved into the regular season rotation. It's better than 90% of the stuff on tv right now. It's like, the writers on the this show suddenly remembered what people want to see as entertainment after a long hard day.

'Burn Notice' exclusive: Jennifer Esposito goes gunning for Michael

Don't panic. Samantha Who? hasn't been canceled. But it has wrapped production for the season, which has freed Jennifer Esposito up to moonlight on cable's hottest show.

Sources confirm to me exclusively that Esposito has booked a multi-episode arc on Burn Notice as Michael's (Jeffrey Donovan) latest arch nemesis. Her character, Michelle Paxon, is a Miami PD detective who becomes obsessed with uncovering the truth about Michael.

Esposito will debut early into BN's third season, which started shooting last week and is scheduled to premiere in June.
awesome :D

Oh snap, I hadn't even thought about local law enforcement. That should be fun.

I wonder what would cause the local law inforcement to go after Michael only now and not these past two seasons .

Presumably, the unnamed organization was keeping him off their radar as well.

yes and having seen Jennifer Esposito nekkid before....makes it all the better...

I didn't either until I saw that article. But you've gotta figure that in a city as big as Miami there's gonna be plenty of corrupt cops and politicians-in-waiting who are more than willing to look the other way for a little quid pro quo.

The subplot with Esposito sounds great.

The end of season 2 turned out really well. They broke from formula and type for a couple episodes and the finale was excellent. And wow, John Mahoney as the head of the organization. Coolness.

I wonder if they are really going to keep their end of the deal, and also if what Mahoney's character said was legit. Seeing as to what they did to Michael and his family, it is hard to consider them trustworthy.

I imagine they'll probably be manipulating events so things work out worse than they normally would have for Michael. If their point is to show Michael that he needs them because his life would be hell without them, it's in their best interests to actually make his life hell 'without' them. Maybe an anonymous tip to Esposito's cop character here, a subtle bit of interference with one of Michael's odd jobs there, etc.

Exactly.. I was just thinking this the other day. Scrubs is another one of my favorites, and that's shown on like 3 or 4 channels all throughout the day. USA can't get rid of some of that Law & Order garbage that they seem to play nonstop, and start over with Psych and Burn Notice?

Imagine all the new people that would get hooked.

I wonder if USA will ever start doing some crossovers...seriously...it's a missed opportunity. The laughs between Monk and Psych cast alone would be great.

Why fix something that is not broken? I mean, it's like the highest rated series on cable right now, why move it? So it can be destroyed by crap like American Idol and Survivor?

Yeah, I'd rather have a long, healthy run for Burn Notice in the summer rotation than a short ratings failure in the fall primetime rotation. Granted, it could potentially succeed in the latter, but why tempt fate?
