some details about season 3 episode 4

Michael tries to get Detective Michelle Paxson off his back by handing over her latest prime suspect, crimelord RICK HEINEKER; trying to get to Heineker via one of his henchmen, TOMMY D'ANTONIO, Michael discovers to his surprise that Tommy's actually a decent guy who winds up helping them put Heineker away. Meanwhile, Sam is tortured by an IRS auditor, STACEY CONNOLLY...

You know I want to say. I'm glad the show has gotten this far. Its about to start its third season which is great. They got an increased order for season 2, so I hope that's the case in season 3 as well.

Also, Bruce Campbell starring in a hit TV show that is going the distance, how is that not awesome? Campbell deserves some success like this after such a long hard working career.

Yeah, and it actually deserves its success. USA makes some good shows but I think Burn Notice is actually the best of them right now. I was initially sort of pissed that The 4400 got cancelled, but BN won me over pretty quickly.

heh...you were dating Joel Gretsch and then Jeffrey Donovan stole you away....

Actually, I never particularly liked Gretsch. Richard was my favorite character on The 4400. I was pissed that they made him a villain, but that's another story.

I'm hoping that we get to see a good amount of John Mahoney this season...I think he's great and can be really menacing when it's needed

I figured we'd see next to nothing of him, actually. He's the shadowy head (maybe) of an organization that Michael just cut all ties to, after all.

But that doesn't mean he can't just show up when Mike is having troubles... and mock him.

True. That would be pretty funny. I know I'd still be seeing him as Frasier's dad, too, which would make it even funnier. :D

Like if Mike were running from the cops... he offers Mike a ride and mentions how all that goes away with a phone call from him, and all Mike has to do is work for him.

IMO, he would have been perfect for the role of the General on Prison Break.

Yeah, I see Michael breaking down and working for Mahoney's character by the end of the season, too. It's gotta be better than the alternative, which is apparently pissant Miami police officers breathing down his neck at every turn.

Which shows how great Burn Notice is... we all somewhat know where it is going... but we are still waiting for the season like crack addicts.

A show doesn't need twists to keep me interested. Just give me solid character work and a compelling plot and I'm good.

But sometimes a twist is good... like Victor just being a big ole softy. :csad:

Was John Mahoney the guy that had Michael burned though?

It was really though that right after Mahoney's appearance I saw him in a stage play in LA that was a lot of fun. It was called the Seafarers.
