yay!
It's been done before (by the same dumbass in office), and it didn't work. At all.It actually makes a little sense given the interest rate cut. It is all done in order to stimulate spending and to forestall a recession. Also with the dollar low, investment in the US increases. Even we are considering investing some money in some US funds to benefit off the exchange rate which we hope will see a reversal within the next 2 years.
As long as you agree to pay for whatever taxes the government comes back for later on to cover the costs of this ******ed idea, including the interest, you're welcome to it.

Heh, kudos for the fiscal backlash update but I'll risk it.![]()
On another note, not that I'm not happy with some extra cash, but this has a very faint Socialist feel to it.![]()

Merriam-Webster said:Fascism - a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition
I'm not sure I agree with that definition. I always thought of fascism as a political ideology that opposes Communism and supports violence against a feared minority. It always takes root in countries with a large middle class, who have much to fear from a Communist regime. America may have had some facist leanings in the 1950's, but I would call Bush an opportunist. And a dumbass. Mostly a dumbass. We have a corporate raider in the White House. The Iraq War was a hostile business takeover.
Wrong:Demo, that definition of fascism is right and Bush is a fascist.

No, it's not funny, Olberman makes himself out to be a News Anchor, O'Reilly makes himself out to be a Commentator. There is a difference. One tells you the "truth" the other tells you his opinion. Once we lose News and all we have is opinion, in diguise as the truth, we've lost Freedom to make our own opinion.Olberman is an *******.
Its funny how the very people that bash O'Reilly - whose style is far less biased, aggressive and immature than Olberman - are the very ones that salute Keith.![]()

Again, 1984.
They're two sides of the same coin, to be honest.

But now that you've called him a censored name aren't you worse than both of them?Olberman is an *******.

To say that O'Reilly (or his style) is less biased or aggressive or immature than Olbermann is well, wrong. To say that they're the same is acceptable and something I wouldn't debate, but that ain't what ya said.
Eh, how many times can Olbermann say the same ****?
Wrong:
