They were/are mad because they aren't invited to the press junket. Which means no press conference, roundtables interviews or one on ones to post. Which is a big deal if that's your outlet's status quo

Just curious, have you seen the movie?

ver a trindade em ação na tela é algo absurdo. "que época para ser nerd" é a melhor frase para definir

To see the Trinity on screen is something absurd (in a good way). Great time to be a nerd.

I think "insane" is a more appropriate translation.

John Campea @johncampea
Friend of mine who saw BVS "Great! WW is a solid character and Gadot doesn't ruin it at all" That's all I needed to hear!

worry about the movie? get in line :whatever:

I bet deep down Campea was hoping for Gal to be awful just so he could say, "I told you!"

Like one person could ruin a whole movie. lol

I'm very into weird stuff! Wait...that came out wrong.

Did he really think a movie with aliens, monsters, meta humans would be normal?

I see Campea is already subtly backtracking on his Gal hate, before even watching the movie for himself.

I think he may refer to the knightmare segment, which we can all see it's different from the rest of the movie even in color-tone.

I don't see how Campea bluntly admitting his friend says his fears were wrong about Gadot is "subtly backtracking," but ok.

he is not backtracking, he stresses even more that his concern is legit and justified...which is absurd and condescending, as if Gal needs his approval.

Glad to hear that Marc liked it, considering he said he was hearing mixed things about it earlier in the week.

Yeah. Seems like more of a backhanded compliment than a backtrack at the moment.

Weintraub from Collider was apparently at this screening too. Didn't give a reaction, though, just says he'll have lots to talk about when the embargo lifts.

EDIT: moviefan beat me to it.

I figured the embargo was for reviews but these guys can't even give a simple reaction on Twitter like "it was great"?

They're not supposed to, I'm guessing. Who knows what the NDA says. The reactions we've seen have been technically non-specific, but in a wink-wink, nudge-nudge, you-darn-well-know-what-I'm-talking-about manner. Or they've been second-hand reactions.

The few who were specific took their stuff down pretty fast, except for maybe the Brazilian reviewer?

Reading the non comments twittes are strange. I always think they did not like the film.

Why would he want that? Seriously all you people hating on him must be seeing things.
