According to the main page, Caine´s official website confirms that he comes back in March for the sequel. He refers to Ledger as Joker as "great casting".

I am actually dreading it because there is no way I will be able to resist. They need to start making a pill to resist urges to spoil movies. I actually would like to not watch the trailer but it is too tempting.

I think the name of the saga is the dark knight, and the next subtitle could be the joker.
I´m not sure...but.. March it´s too early for me... they will film two bat movies... like matrix
