Call of Duty: Ghosts

SP is surprisingly better and more interesting this time too.

I don't agree with that. The campaign is okay & has some cool concepts, particularly the Federation & Ghosts (as well as Riley :D), but the story & characters left something to be desired. I really loved the story in Black Ops II, I particularly loved the Harper character but that's probably due to me being a big Michael Rooker fan.

Multiplayer is fun so far, the maps are really hit or miss though. I also don't like how you have to buy EVERYTHING, especially since the points are hard to get. I don't mind buying weapons, perks & even extra class spots... But let the players unlock attachments instead of buying them.

What? You have to buy attachments? Oh, that's lame as hell.

You have to buy everything. Perks, kill streaks, guns, attachments, class slots....everything! It's pretty annoying.

Well each to their own on the SP, I never really got into BO2 SP in fact I have never completed a SP since the first BO to be honest but for some reason this one I like.

I do agree on the MP though, some levels area really good this time like Octane but then there are some shockers like Chasm, to be honest maps have not been good in the last two CoD's IMO, the original MW and BO were far far better. And yeah the whole points system seems like it will take forever to unlock everything, I dont see why perks and attachments have to cost points, seems a bit of a grind.

Goddamn, do I hate Chasm. I swear, that map comes up more than any other map I've played, and I still have no idea how to get around it. I know how to get from the C point to the A point really quick, but I'm still incredibly confused how to get to B.

That and Strikezone are my personal hates, but everyone else seems to vote for Strikezone, I guess because its a small map.

The challenges system is also pretty mucked up this time with all its random crazyness.

Ha, Strikezone is probably my favorite map. I see people getting killed in the same spots over and over again, so I normally stay near the A point, and cap people there. The steps on A or the outside area going from A to C is a good place for that map. I always die near C, and you have to be careful near B.

Well a lot of people seem to like that one so I appear to be in the minority its probably because I suck at it, infact generally I suck at this CoD lol. Maybe my best online shooter days are behind me, cant keep up with the youth of today.!!:whatever:

SP I thought was one of the best for a COD. But MP I think is pretty bad this time around, map design I just feel is far from COD's prime.

I like how this time you are on the losing side, it was getting kinda old with the good guys always being the powerhouse and the mission is okay lets go take down this radical group.

When compared to BO2 I loved BO2 MP but SP didn't even interest me enough to finish it.

I'm thinking about bringing this game back. The camping is ridiculous in this game. I know it's always going to be there but I'm playing games of Kill Confirmed that are ending with scores in the 30's. That's insanity. Even games that are designed for high action like Blitz and Cranked have guys camping in every building with thermal sights.

Yeah, the camping is insane in this one. I just stick to Cranked, Domination and FFA. Any kind of Team Deathmatch or K/C, and you're going to have nothing but camping. I'm also running into an insane amount of snipers in this game. Once those snipers get their dog, they just huddle up in a corner of a room, and put explosive around the doorways, and then they also have that damn dog get you if you try to rush in.

Why can't they just put something in the game where you won't be able to reload if you don't move more than 30ft in diameter or something like that....?

I need some fellow hunters to go ALIEN PROBING in Extinction (PS3). My crew has a fairly hectic schedule, so the more the merrier.

So is the need to buy every attachment really that annoying? Does it take a long time to earn points to buy stuff?

Yes, it takes a bit longer than just regularly leveling up. I hate that it costs 20 points to buy a new loadout. That's a good 1-3 hours of straight playing to get that. And I have no idea how to get more points, other than leveling up, and doing those briefcase missions. Sometimes I'll play a game, and get about 3 points, and then I'll play 3-4 games in a row, and not get a single one. I have no idea how it works if you're not leveling up or doing little mission packs.

I don't get why people are complaining about having to buy things with squad points. This has been a thing for the last few games with cod points and what not in previous games. And it really doesn't take very long to earn them, especially if you complete field orders during games or operations. Oh well sucks for you guys cause it's fine for me haha. As for the campaign I beat it today cause I was waiting to play on my ps4. ****ing awesome. I always loved the MW trilogy, and BO was ok. BO2 campaign I never finished. This campaign was really awesome and to me will be Infinity Wards new MW. And extinction mode is fun as hellllllll.

This studio shouldn't even be called Infinity Ward to be quite frank.

It's an insult to the original team. How about Incompetent Ward instead.

My only issue with it is the fact it costs points to get new challenges and then they are random and might give you one you have already completed!! In fact I think my issue is more with the challenge system they have in this CoD than squad points, it would be cool however if you could "sell" items back to get points back again like Black Ops did.

Oh and agreed on the SP this is the first one I have actually bothered to finish since BO and this was decent at least, felt like a mix of Cod/Rainbow Six/Ghost Recon at times.

It is quite annoying to have to earn squad points to buy stuff. I don't feel like I'm earning them very fast

But I do like the squads mode. That is a pretty neat addition

Really? Because I found them to accumulate pretty fast. I've got over 120 to burn and I don't know where to spend them....

I have given up on the game for a while. I got sick of the relentless camping and the spawning is the absolute worst I've ever seen out of the gate for a CoD game. I'm constantly spawning in front of people and getting shot in the back. I may go back once I hear they update it to fix some of that crap. Until then I went back to Black Ops 2.
