Cameo Appearances You Would Like to See in MOS

*Is Wondering what argument he lost*

Cameos I DON'T want to see are ones from other superheroes. Superman movies dont need that.

I don't see them ever being involved but other members of the Superfamily would be alright with me. Supergirl, Superboy, Steel.

I wouldn't mind seeing Supergirl or especially Steel. Superman family characters would be nice to see.

I mean the other DCU characters.

Only cameo that I would like would be Tomar-Re during the destruction of Krypton.

well it looks like we are getting Tor-An

Yeah, but that isn't really a cameo by an outside superhero.

Tomar-Re is the Green Lantern of sector 2813, Krypton's sector and the sector next to Earth's. He was on assignment to delay the destruction of Krypton so the citizens could have more time to decide what they wanted to do, but was delayed by a sun going nova en route and arrived when Krypton exploded. If DC were to actually go the shared universe route, that would be a really cool place to start with it.

But they aren't, so it is a moot point.

still a good point to make though

How do you figure? It's an entirely new version of Zod; as is the case for Superman, Lois, Krypton, Metropolis etc.

What I meant was that if they were seeing MOS as a standalone thing with no options for sequels then I can only imagine that they would've brought in a much bigger villain and finally give fans the ultimate showdown they've been craving, especially with Snyder at the helm. Then they would've at least given us BrainIAC.

Really? A GL failing to protect an entire planet's destruction? I Think it's a little late for that kinda tie in... Especially after Tomar Re was in the GL movie...

If they were smart about trying to make an awesome Superman movie they would have "brought in a much bigger villain and finally give fans the ultimate showdown they've been craving, especially with Snyder at the helm. Then they would've at least given us BrainIAC."

im hoping Brainiac has a cameo of some sort, whether its during the destruction of krypton or at the end of the film.

God, it would be awesome if they hinted towards Brainiac.

BrainIAC has been depicted as a kryptonian security-system, right?
Well, I could see Jor-El being its creator and why Zod possibly would object to it even causing it too fail which would lead to it turning against its purpose.

Something like that could be hinted at cleverly in MOS, I agree.

Still, explain how my statement is ridiculous. Zod was extremely poorly written in S2. He only had cheesy and ridiculous one liners. He wore a disco outfit, basically. Like I said, a product of its time and bless Stamp because I always liked him, he really did the best he could with that script and direction. But let's not pretend it's any good because it aint. Like I said, just you watch after MOS comes out and let's see if anyone still remembers Stamp's Zod a year after that.

But Stamp's Zod IS Zod, basically. The comic book version was not really that important until the movie. It was mostly Jax-Ur, when it came to the PZ criminals.

Sometimes, I imagine what the modern equivalent of Superman 3 would be like...and Chris Rock as Gus Gorman makes PERFECT sense, lol.

Cameos of real people, no one. Cameos of characters, Brainiac, Lexcorp and at a push mention maybe New Genesis as a place to rocket the baby Kal-El.

Yes! A mention of New Genesis would be great. I'd like to see them going through a list of locations, including Apokolips as well.

Lex Luthor. I'd like to see the back of his head as he stares out through a window, seeing Superman shoot by in flight as he saves Metropolis. At the very least I'd like to see a mention of him on the News or in a Newspaper.

Bruno Mannheim and/or Intergang.

John Corben could also have a small scene, but not as Metallo yet.

If S.T.A.R. Labs is going to be in this then Rudy Jones should be in there as well, just not as Parasite yet.

The mention of a crazed man that has a strange attraction to children and creates deadly toy-like weapons can be mentioned on the news.

Brainiac strictly as an A.I. without a body in the Krypton scenes.

Oh im well aware of the difference. Just too bad there are people out there who don't realize facts actually do exist and not everything is an opinion.

Two threads, one problem...

Bizarro.

I imagined a real disturbing origin for him. Lex manages to obtain Superman's DNA. He splices it with sperm and fertilises many women with it, unknowingly. His plan is to surveillance the children upon birth, and will eventually kidnap each one and test them, for his quest to take control of the ultimate superhuman. But Lex has altered each babies DNA to accelerate, causing them to grow at high speed. So this will inevitability end up killing the pregnant women once the babies reach their time limit.

Anyway. The mothers die, reminding something like Alien :hehe:
And Lex takes the clones to Lexcorp. Ultimately they grow further, end up being monstrosities, Lex wants them disposed of, and all but one survives...Bizarro, who ends up causing trouble in Metropolis!

He got there just as it exploded...it was too late. And he's been a Green Lantern for decades.

It's irrelevant anyway, as they are not going the shared universe route.

Don't speak too soon. Weren't Marvel fans saying the same thing a few years ago?

Dean Cain, Brandon Routh & Tom Welling as 3 guys in a car who get saved by Superman lol
