When are you planning to see MOS?

LOL it bugs me too!

I haven't followed any of the pre-release rhubarb and fun and speculation regarding the movie. So I went to Fandango and was so happy that they had "Thursday" midnight showing tickets....yeah right, then I saw the "disclaimer," which is not a disclaimer at all but a poor excuse for a lie in order to get some of us poor suckers to click on the offer and get all excited, then deflated. :csad: Ah, what's an extra day anyway.

I foolishly did not know about the Walmart tickets on sale for the Thursday showings or I would have bought those. Going to check if they have any left, hope it's not too late.:woot:

I am now thinking that since I'm seeing it twice in IMAX3D, if the movie doesn't flop, I'd wanna see it a third (and last) time in theaters in IMAX 2D.

Man of Steel is one of the few movies I will gladly run out to see on its first midnight showings the day of release. Nevermind the fact that I'll end up only getting maybe 3-4 hours of sleep afterwards before I get up for work the next day.....but I have a feeling it'll be worth it.

Looking like June 15thfir definite, I'm so pissed off right now

Probably the 17th or the 18th with a buddy of mine.

It's cause I missed out on free advance screening tickets, Sky Rewards put them on sale at 3pm when me and most of the UK were working. I still can't believe they did that?

Tomorrow! I got tickets to an advanced screening! Woohoo!

I was on those Walmart tickets the morning they released, though something felt wrong, deep down I wanted to experience this film in IMAX for my first viewing. So that's how it's going down. I'll be at the 12:01 am IMAX 3D screening on Thursday/Friday. Beyond excited for :supes:

Tomorrow at 7:30 - advanced screening
June 11 at 7:30 - another advanced screening
June 12 at LA Film Fest at 7:00
June 13 at midnight
June 14 at 9:45 pm

Bought the LA Film Fest ticket first because I was impatient to wait and see it on Friday, then bought the midnight ticket next. Then going with some friends on Friday so bought another ticket for 9:45. Then I won the June 11 advanced screening ticket on Sunday and won the June 5 advanced screening tickets last night. Got a big week cut out for me next week.

Kinda wish I could cancel the LA Film Fest one, but since I bought that one first I already bought plane tickets from SF to LA.

But I think I remember seeing TDKR about 3-4 times in the opening week.

I'll be at a conference for work next week so I wasn't able to get any Thursday tickets from Walmart since it would've meant driving 2 hours to stand in line and get them when they were released. So we'll skip a session on Friday afternoon to check it out with friends and family.

Having Deja Vu as this is what happened with Green Lantern. I want a better experience than that, though.

Man I was really hoping the advanced screening tomorrow would be in IMAX, but it looks like it won't be as the screening is at 7:30pm and they still have a list for Star Trek Into Darkness for 7:30pm tomorrow in IMAX. Guess we have to settle for the crappier smaller screens. Totally still going because I have been looking forward to this movie it seems like forever, but usually I hold off seeing a movie until I can see it the best way possible. I wonder if it will be in 3D or not.

At least the June 11 screening looks like it will be in IMAX 3D.

Decided to work from home and go to theater early and work there in line while I wait. There was already 10 people in line and one of the dudes said that each of them have a plus one or two so I am already 20-30 people back in line.

Normally I would be upset at the line savers or the people who think they can show up late and still get in because a friend is holding their spot, but I am holding a spot for three of my friends :/

Never been a fan of midnight screenings, so I'll be there on the Friday night opening.

I got tickets for a midnight Imax 3d screening (my first midnight) and a 7:30pm Friday Imax 3d screening here in Dallas.

The 13th..AND, if its as good as I hope, again at midnite.

For me, it looks like I'm going to do the Wells Fargo IMAX in Raleigh, NC in 2D on the 14th and do another screening on the 15th at my local theatre.

I just have to see this film in IMAX first. Luckily the True IMAX in Raleigh is have one 2D IMAX showing everyday. Last time I went there was in October of 2008 for my last screening of the Dark Knight. BEST. SCREENING. EXPERIENCE. EVER.

Looks definitely like the 15th for me barring a miracle

The first release day screening here:

June 14th - 11:00am

Have my tickets bought for that a few weeks ago.

If all goes well though:

June 12th 7:00 pm

The cinema I frequent are having a special advance screening that day - tickets are entirely free but they're being distributed via a draw on their facebook page so here's hoping!

I am seeing it June 13, then seeing it June 14th @6 and then twice on Saturday (once in IMAX) then again on Sunday the 15th. So 5 times in one weekend. That is a record for me (Twice in 1 weekend was my record TDK, Avengers, TDKR). of course I may not love it and only see it 2 times or dislike it and see it the one time.
