You always hear "they'll still remain friends" when a celeb couple gets a divorce, but can that really happens.

I mean, it could happen if the couple have a kid together but other than that I would think that after a couple gets a divorce they don't want anything to do with each other.

Judging from my parents, NO. A big no.

They won't even be in the same place.

I think so. Depends on the circumstances. If it was a case wehre it really wasnt anybody's fault it just wasnt working, I think they can be friends and such. If it involved infedility or ended badly for some reason than no.

I think after a while they can become "friendly" especially if kids are involved.

That is just something they tell us to make us think that their kids are being brought up right.

You know what i find weird. People that get divorced with kids, go on and do their own business and then they start dating each other again like it was high school or something.

Trust me, no.

trust me, yes. I've seen it on a number of occassions. It might not happen with all of them, but it does happen, I guess a lot of it depends on why they got divorced in the 1st place

Before my grandmother died, she and my grandfather turned out to be very good friends after their divorce.

Yeah, a buddy of mind remains friends with his ex-wife. Yes, there is a kid involved but they are pretty close and involved with other people.

It takes a lot of maturity and age has nothing to do with that. I know that some hurt feelings are still harbored but they don't allow it to stand in the way of communicating in a diplomatic manner when it comes to raisng their son.

I on the other hand don't know if I could do it, it's circumstances and the other half has a lot to do with it. Since I date losers I'd have to say no.

my friends parents are divorced and her dad go remarried. but her parents are like "party buddies" and he goes to visit her with his new wife all the time. he even stays at her house. thats pretty weird..at least she thinks so lol

I thought you were married for some reason, tzarinna.

It's because I'm old right,:( The guys at work ask me all the time," married, kids"
I'm too much on the run (not so much since the car accident-2/24/06)and I don't like to play games, and I date the wrong people:mad: :(

You're like.. 29? Right? Thats not old. and no its not why. Its because one day you mentioned something about cooking dinner for your family, I thought you meant husband and kids kinda family, I guess not.

well, Jack and Meg White are still in the same band, so...

depends, i mean they can even fall in love again, you hear stories of people that had gotten divorced only to re-marry years later...

the top example is rare

it's more realistic to be friends

saying this, most just become civil at best or end up never being on speaking terms...

as always it depends on the relationship...

heck, i know married couples that aren't even friends with one another...

Check that profile again.

I've dated a mix of guys, I'm open minded and like to mix it up. But I'd say I've dated quite a few macho guys and I think I give them so much **** because they think their such hot ****. I've dated guys with the need for medication, true:( .
But I'm currently taking a break from dating to buy a house and focus on my career:up: :)

But I have to go see X3 before it is completely ruined for me on this site.
