Or have you always been the follower, not that there's anything wrong with it. More or less, have there been situations involving people other than yourself where you basically had to take charge in order to obtain a decent outcome? I'm taking a couple classes online, and we have a group project that needs completing, but these brats want to slack off and wait before doing any research. I called up each of them last night and assigned areas for them all to take a look at, regardless of their thoughts on it, as this **** is affecting my own grade as well.

Erm...I'm in the middle.

Sometimes I'm followed, sometimes I follow. All depends what I'm doing.

Although I'm abit ******ed so I always need some support of some kind. :o

I've been the leader in all of my bands, I'm the Head Concierge at work and I've had a few very submissive girlfriends.
I've only enjoyed that third leadership role.

At work I feel like crap telling people to do lame tasks. I think they think I'm abusing my power and just making them do all of the unsavory stuff, when of course, in reality, I'm doing way lamer stuff than they are AND, ultimately I'm the one who'll mainly get in trouble if they screw up. bOiNg:huh:

And bands? LOL, is there a musician without a colossal ego who doesn't flip out with a quivering lip when you tell him to stop playing it the way he's playing it or tell him, "Sorry, We're not going to do your song live 'cause it's weak." ?
I've met a few, but, they all sucked.

I don't dig leading, but the only thing worse is being led by an idiot.

I kinda lead my band...but it's more of the organising I do. Lazy bums :cmad:

Well I am the general manager of a fund management company so I think that qualifies ;)

I'm too much of a rebel. I need to be in charge. It's in my blood.

The trouble is. I was in the works of putting together an 8-9 piece ska band.

Then after much thinking...even the thought made my mind die. Organising a band can be stressful with 4 members. Let alone 9. :csad:

Guess the only time I've had to be a leader is bein co-captain of a soccer team. Not that tough a job.

It's hard to book gigs when you're 4 college students that have other plans. :o

It's stressful, when all I wanna do is gig. :cmad:

That's easy. Just forget you've got brains and kick the ball.. Occasionally pretending to get hurt. :o

I once crash landed on this Island, and everyone was looking to me because of my medical skills, so I reluctantly had to be a leader :csad:

You look sad but that is so much better than the doctor who ended up on an island aLONE and started shooting up morphine and eating his own feet, legs.

I always end up being the leader on the set when I'm movie-making. Otherwise, I'm quite passive.

I've been a warehouse lead and a warehouse supervisor and both suck. You find out who the real whiners and cry babies are when you're in charge. I just prefer to go in, do my work and go home and not worry about who's going to piss and moan or call off on you.

As a teacher I lead every day... granted their little kids and it's a lot easier than leading adults (which I've also done). I'm a class A hard*ss when it comes to the kids... they need to learn some manners and some respect. It's taken me a year or two to learn how to take a hard line with them and it isn't easy to do that. It only gets worse when you got a bunch of adults under you supervision.

I taught college geology classes for a while... I had a hard time figuring out how to motivate them and in the end just gave them fitting grades rather than trying to inspire them to do anything more.

One of my workers has told me that I'm not a dick.

I guess I'm doing something right, even though I've never been in a position of leadership. Ever.

do you spank them? :o

All day everyday. It starts at home, i'm a husband and a father so that makes me leader of my household. Then at work i'm in charge of people, then in my personal life most of my friends look to me to make the decisions, and out all my cousins i'm the oldest so i'm kinda like leader of the my family's next generation. So yeah it's kinda thrust upon me
