The Dark Knight Can someone tell describe the "pencil trick" scene for me?

everyone in my theater erupted in laughter and you heard some college kids say dang thats badass...it was soo cool...its personally my favorite scene...along with "Hiii" at the hospital scene...

That scene is so ridiculous. In a good way! I don't think anyone in my theatre saw it coming. There was quite a reaction.

God such a good scene. I had read in Entertainment Weekly about The Joker killing someone with a pencil but I had no idea how he was going to go about it. When I saw that last night I was flabbergasted. One of the coolest maneuvers I've ever seen.

Before I saw it, I thought it would be a re-hash of the scene from B89 where Joker throws a pen at that guys throat, but this scene blows that one away.

The pencil trick was amazing. Everyone in my theatre went nuts for that scene. I knew what was going to happen in advance (thanks to one of the critics), but the way Ledger executed it was just brilliant.

On BOF, Chris Nolan said that his brother Jonah came up with the idea. Thank you Nolans!

ooooh man, the pencil trick was so awesome. I've seen it three times this weekend and the part still gets me. One of my favorite parts of the film.
