The Rise of Skywalker Can "Star Wars" Redeem the Skywalker Legacy?

I was fine with Rey, Poe, and Finn. If anything, they probably should have started Episode 7 with a clean slate and not featured the characters from the OT.

To be honest, this is what i expected 7-8-9 to be.

To be honest, this is what i expected 7-8-9 to be.

Well when the new trilogy was announced , I was actually advocating for the OT cast and characters to return to continue with the story and I was against the idea of it being only about new characters.

In hindsight , I wish they had actually done the latter than the prior. That said , what's done is done.

I hope the new films post Episode 9 will leave the Skywalker family and the OT, PT, and NT characters behind, and tell new stories about new characters.
