Cancelled shows of Tomorrow: The War on Chuck Lorre - Part 9

Hope this Mist cancellation isn't some kind of sign that Spike will be dusting Shannara too.

The show didn't have the Lovecraft monsters? Wtf was the threat in the show? Low visibility due to mist?

No, just small stuff usually, or mutations. People would go into the mist and things (insects, slugs, weird creatures, etc) usually no bigger than a guinea pig would attack them or come out of their bodies or transform them somehow into really annoying people with trite dialogue.

Oh wait, the bad dialogue was already there. :oldrazz: The largest thing we "saw" come out of the mist was at the very beginning and decapitated a dog, all of which was off screen and never directly seen. From then on we never saw anything else attack/kill or do anything in the mist that couldn't be stepped on with a large shoe.

Nothing like in the movie where they had the giant insects. Let alone leviathan sized creatures.

I just read they are being rebranded (again from their original The Nashville Network brand to TNN to The New TNN to Spike TV to just Spike) to The Paramount Network so I don't know what that means for its future. Apparently this was announced all the way back in Feburary but I only now saw it this morning. I assume by the end of 2018 The Paramount Network will rebrand itself as TPN.

Stitchers has been cancelled. If anyone here even knew about it. It wasn't the best show, the premise was somewhat hokey around "stitching" into the minds of dead people to figure out how they died but the ratings were too low to get a fourth season. Too bad. I mainly watched because Allison Scagliotti (Claudia from Warehouse 13) was in it and also Sally Richardson-Whitfield (from Eureka) too.

liked this show alot:csad:

It seems to be really working for CBS, with Hawaii 5-0 and MacGuyver.

I wonder what bland, C-list actor they'll cast as Magnum.

And much like Hawaii 5-0, their new Magnum P.I. character will be an ex-Navy SEAL. They really like to throw in military special forces guys into these roles.

I'm pretty sure the new Magnum is going to be a woman, it'll be his daughter.

Its probably a better explanation than this guy took a few self defense classes and can suddenly defend himself like a pro. :p

Well the original Magnum was an Ex-Navy SEAL as well. :D

Is there a new Magnum? When is that coming out? Is it actually going ahead? Or is it ages away?

Was he? I remember the series but not the specifics like that. Was McGarrett on Hawaii 5-0 also an ex Seal in the original series?

Jack Lord's Steve McGarrett was a Naval Commander I believe, IIRC...

Woman or not, Magnum has better have the mustache.

The original McGarrett was a Navy commander.
The new McGarrett was a Navy Seal.

The original Magnum was a Navy Lieutenant who worked in Naval Intelligence and was a Seal. When he rejoined the Navy at the end of the series, he was given the rank of Commander.

Anything labeled "CBS Drama" or "Medical Drama" immediately go into my "Don't give a crap" list.

I pretty much don't give a crap about any of those. :p
