Fox has dedicated sports channels. Put that sport's **** on those channels.

Not if they would promote their sports channels and make them standard cable channels with their official channel. Sports fans want to watch sports. They dont care if it's on Fox or Fox Sports channel as long as they can watch it. Fox and all these damn networks could use their sports channels for all their sports broadcasts and I doubt it would hurt them in the slightest. And it would allow the rest of us to enjoy the shows we like.

Sick of shows having to take a back seat to sports when it's not at all necessary. In this day and age with all the streaming platforms and broadcasting options what Fox is pulling is antiquated BS.

Fox Sports channels usually broadcast soccer, college sports, MMA and racing. The NFL is a different beast entirely (in the US at least) that they'd want to keep on their flagship network. It generates a lot more revenue for them, so naturally they'd cater to it.

When it comes to the big three of baseball, football and basketball, network tv pays out the ass to air those games espeically if they're big ones. ****, the White Sox and the Cubs are playing each other this weekend in a few games and it's a madhouse.

All these cancellations make me feel like we're shifting into the beginning of the end of scripted shows on network TV. In the end, all that will be standing are The Simpsons and Family Guy because Fox will never let those die, the Law and Order shows because those will still be around long after we're all gone, and anything produced by Shonda Rhimes or Chuck f***ing Lorre because they both have contracts with Satan.

Nah. CW has worked out the new world of TV. I mean, Dynasty, despite its low ratings, is still a profitable show for them.

Completely unsurprising when they took the success of the first season, **** all over it by killing off (badly) the Erinn Hayes' character then trying to remake King of Queens long after it was no longer relevant.


I quit watching three or four episodes into the second season and totally expected it to get cancelled.

As long as baby boomers are around then stuff like CBS procedural shows and broad comedies like The Big Bang Theory will be on air.

I don't know where epguides gets their info, but they're usually pretty spot on. They've had The Exorcist and Great News cancelled for months. Also the X-Files, though I guess that one hasn't been officially announced either.

No, Brooklyn 99 is produced by Universal, so it was easy for NBC to save a show they essentially make anyway.

And none of this is Disney. Even after the buyout, the Fox channels will remain Fox.

not to mention the World Series, the World Cup, AND the US Open

all on Fox

Fox and producers Warner Bros. Television have recast fired Lethal Weapon star Clayne Crawford with Seann William Scott, triggering a third-season renewal for the procedural. Scott (aka Stifler from the American Pie franchise) will join the series in what the network says is a new character who folds into a partnership with Murtaugh (Damon Wayans). Sources tell THR that Scott may play the brother to Crawford's Martin Riggs, thus keeping the well-known name in the mix.

For those that don't keep up. Gotham's renewal was hinging on how fast "Lethal Weapon" could find a replacement actor.
