Oh stop ****-stirring. It's Always Sunny and The League are ridiculously better than The Big Bang Theory. Deal with it.

Oh those NBC exec's....always failing.

If Big Bang Theory was on F/X, it wouldn't have a crap load of viewers, a full -season order, or have a crap load of merch. Why? Cause F/X Fails at Life, that's why.

Come. At. Me.
F/X is better at dramas. I haven't been all that fond of any of their comedies in the limited viewing I've had, except for maybe a couple of the seasons of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Some pilot casting...

Geoff Stults Cast As Lead in ABC's Enlisted I like the guy, but he's basically a male Summer Glau with the rate that he's gone through shows. Now, I'm not going to use the term "show-killer", because I hate that term, but it's just not a good batting average. I'd be interested to see how he fares with straight comedy.

Michael Pena Cast As Lead of FOX's The List Nice catch for them. I was already intrigued by the premise and the folks behind this, and know they've cast a quality actor too. Not bad.

Ari Graynor Set As Lead of CBS' Bad Teacher Hawt. Plus, the pilot's writer's two previous series credits are Community and Happy Endings, so I'd be all over this.

Catherine O'Hara To Co-Star in FOX's To My Future Assistant

Tate Donovan Cast in CBS' Hostages Likable actor.

Mandy Moore Cast in ABC's Pulling Mmmm... :atp:

Jason Lee Set As Lead in CBS' Second Sight Seems like an odd choice for a role originally played by Clive Owen... I don't know. Maybe I'm just stuck remembering him in My Name is Earl more than his other work.

the league..meh. always sunny..is a terrible show:cmad:

Lies. It's Always Sunny is top notch, but I will admit that the last 2-3 seasons haven't been their A game.

Never watched The League. I keep hearing that it's awesome, but if that is the case, then the entire FX marketing department should be fired because from the start, all of the promos make it look like pure crap.

Louie was great, and still has its moments, but this last season was more depressing than funny.

American Horror Story is generally a fun watch, but it can be really stupid at times.

My wife and I recently watched the first four seasons of Sons of Anarchy on Netflix. We liked it, but some of it (all that crap with the kidnapping and going to Ireland) just dragged on for so long. Looking forward to getting to watch season five whenever that shows up on Netflix and then starting to watch it on regular tv once caught up.

The Ultimate Fighter is one of the only reality shows I will watch, and that's only because it deals with something I actually enjoy. Production values seem to have improved since the move to FX from Spike, especially this season.

I need to watch Justified. It looks awesome.

That is my assessment of FX.

Justified is fantastic.

It's the only fX show I watch.

I think its pretty hysterical. I think if you like Always Sunny you have a good chance of liking this too.

Thats kind of what I like about it. I laugh very little watching Louie but it has 100% of my attention from beginning to end.

I hate this show so much.

Ireland stuff definitely dragged. I almost cut bait because of it. Glad I didn't though cause I loved the next 2 seasons.

Yea Justified is pretty awesome.

Just because its a multi-camera sitcom doesn't mean it is bad.

I've seen plenty of horrendous single camera shows.

Ehhhh... it's a slippery slope. I think it gives the writers an excuse to slack off instead of working on crafting actually great comedic material.

It's exactly that. I love multi-camera sitcoms, but I feel like too many of the current ones go for the easy joke way too much. If a single-camera sitcom went for the same jokes, they'd easily be cancelled.

Oh those NBC exec's....always failing.

Will Arnett To Star In Greg Garcia’s Multi-Camera CBS Pilot
By NELLIE ANDREEVA

Up All Night’s Will Arnett has been tapped as the lead in CBS’ untitled Greg Garcia comedy pilot. The project, written and executive produced by Raising Hope and My Name Is Earl creator Garcia, centers on Jack (Arnett), a recently divorced guy whose life gets more complicated when his parents have marital problems of their own. CBS Studios is producing. For Arnett, the pilot is formally in second position to NBC’s Up All Night. After recently scrapping its planned transformation from a single- to a multi-camera comedy, I hear the sophomore comedy is not going forward but it has not been officially cancelled by the network and the cast, sans star Christina Applegate who left 10 days ago, has not been released. Since Applegate’s exit, which threw NBC’s plans for Up All Night in turmoil, Arnett had been courted for a slew of pilots. He fielded multiple offers until settling on CBS’ Greg Garcia project whose main character’s story dovetails with Arnett’s real-life experience of going through a divorce. Arnett, repped by WME, Principato-Young and Neil Meyer, is also reprising his role as Gob Bluth in Netflix’s Arrested Development revival. His company Dumb Dumb, a partnership with Jason Bateman and Ben Silverman’s Electus, has been producing branded content for the digital world.
Arnett, WHY?!? So boring sounding... :csad:

Steve Zahn To Star In ABC Pilot ‘Influence’
By NELLIE ANDREEVA

Steve Zahn has signed on to play one of the two leads in the ABC drama pilot Influence, from Awake creator Kyle Killen and 20th TV. The project is described as a provocative workplace ensemble centered on the complicated relationship between two brothers — a bipolar genius in human psychology and a slick ex-con — who head a unique agency designed to solve their clients’ problems using the real science of human motivation and manipulation. Zahn will play the genius brother Clark, an unmedicated bi-polar world renowned expert in the fields of human behavior, psychology and motivation. He’s a former professor whose academic career imploded when the university became aware he was having an affair with a 22 year old undergraduate. Zahn, repped by WME, Principal Entertainment and J. Franklin Stewart, recently starred in the HBO drama Treme and the Diary Of A Wimpy Kid movie franchise.
I can't see this having a future on ABC, as much as I enjoy Killen's writing.

Garcia + CBS + multicamera = this has a chance at succeeding in the ratings. That's probably why Arnett took it since every show he has been on has been low rated.

Arnett fans may not like it but look at Rules of Engagement. Since 2007 they've quietly produced 100 episodes and got a syndication deal. The media ignores the show, it pulls in decent numbers for CBS where ever they put it. It gets no respect (scheduling them on a Saturday before moving them to Thursdays). We were pissed when Community was "moved" to Fridays, imagine what it would be like if NBC moved it to Saturdays. Good luck to him, maybe it is halfway decent.

Yeah, but multi-cam Greg Garcia is pretty awful. Yes Dear was some unbearable ****.

From the sound of his two pilots, I'd much rather Super Clyde see the light of day.

I like to think of Yes Dear (even though I try not to) as pre-Earl/Raising Hope Greg Garcia. If he can stick to the latter shows' kind of humor, I think it'll be good.

My two cents on Big Bang Theory... it's terrible. One good performance does not make a good show, especially a show with garbage dialogue. Chuck Lorre should stop while he's still behind.

Again, as far as multi-cam, canned laughter sitcoms go, you could do a hell of a lot worse than Yes Dear.

I agree. Then again, I love me some Mike O'Malley.

Ehh... you could do worse, but I don't think you could do MUCH worse.

Its Always Sunny's characters should be locked in a car and driven into the Schuylkill.

On a lighter note, how is the Americans doing in the ratings department?

I think if I ever really viewed Yes, Dear as a primetime sitcom, I would think it sucks, but to me, it's an afternoon TBS sitcom, so I hold it to much lower standards. I honestly could not tell you the network it originally aired on, or a general window for which years it aired.
