Cannibal Holocaust

Google it. I don't have the heart (or stomach) to tell you.

Here's a hint -- it's a video that's also known as "hatchet vs gentials".
I got through it by just telling myself that it was prosthetic special effects of some kind (which it supposedly is). :csad:

*checks* Oh boy. But it's supposed to be a hoax.. anyway, I'm not checking this one :funny:

There is a hoax Internet viral video entitled BME Pain Olympics: Final Round that has nothing to do with the actual Pain Olympics. It has been viewed by a large number of Web surfers and has been the subject of reaction videos on sites including YouTube. In the video, two men are seen performing self-genital mutilation. The original video, hosted on BMEzine, displays a message at the end confirming it is fake, however most of the other versions of the video on other websites do not have that message at the end. After a recent schism between the owners, BME no longer provides many of the April Fools' Day Publishers Ring articles, including the one announcing this video as a prank. Since the article is no longer hosted, neither is the video which, while very graphic and contains some real content, is not 100% authentic. Other April Fools' Day articles in the past have included identical twins swapping body parts and a couple biting each other's fingers off as a sign of commitment.

The video of the two "competitors" seems to be taken from actual footage of EREBLI and Kokomi.3k but have been doctored to make them look more intense than they actually are.

The song "Livin' Like a Zombie" by Mortification is played in the video.

Wasn't a woman actually killed during the making of this film? I heard somewhere that they couldn't prove she was alive or how the did the effect.

No, it wasn't. Just like they didn't kill a girl in Guinea Pig.

A coatimundi (mistaken as a muskrat in the film) is stabbed multiple times in the neck by an actor.
A large turtle (about three feet long) is captured in the water and dragged to shore, where it is then decapitated and its limbs and shell removed. The actors proceed to cook and eat the turtle.
A large spider is killed with a machete.
A snake is killed with a machete.
A squirrel monkey has its face cut off with a machete.
A pig is kicked and then shot with a rifle.

The coatimundi is really the only animal death in the movie that wasn't quick from the looks of it. The guy who tried to slit its throat obviously screwed up the first time.

Besides that, the other animal deaths are very quick. That doesn't excuse it of course, but at least they weren't tortured or anything.

watching this film, i was surprised that it was actually a pretty damn good film. yes,its notoriously gory, but theres far more to it than that. its a solid film. concern over the animal deaths is quite legitimate. knowing they were gonna happen, i didnt watch those particular scenes. and on the subject of the gore, it was excellently done. better than i've seen in any other film, modern films included. if you watch the film, be sure to get the directors cut, which isnt too hard to find now a days. i've found it streaming online for free.
