Yeah well, i do when he loses the scallops off his hands.I have no problem with Batman adding another arrow to his quiver so to speak.

Why do you take people that dislike that costume so personal? Not everyone is gonna like it.
Does someone know if he fires the six scallops or just three. Hopefully the first because i can't see batman with a plain gauntlet. The scallops are part of his classic look.
From the TV spot it looks to be more than three.
I really don't like it. In the context of a live action film it looks silly.

I use to dislike the Batsuit and dislike the Joker look.
Now I dislike the Batsuit and like the Joker look.
Hate the cluttered design and on top of that, the old cowl(just streamlined more) just doesn't fit the new suit.
Yeah.
Now no one can complain about not turning his head, even though he could in BB.

To me it doesn't. it strikes a great balance. it looks combat ready and still looks like Batman. But lord knows the new suit in TDK doesn't look silly in the slightest![]()
Explain by what criteria it looks silly. Also, are the similar costumes used in other superhero movies silly? Examples include Daredevil, the X-Men, Spider-Man, and hell, even Harry's Goblin costume in Spider-Man 3.
No because the X-men suits made sense. Spider-man works because it's supposed to be something designed on the cheap by a teenager. The Batman costume in the comics looks the way it does for the sake of expediency, meaning it's something that can be drawn quickly and is easy to replicate by multiple artist.
For a film version of Batman, acharacter who is essentially an urban commando, I've always liked the idea of the armored suit.
Lets keep a few things straight here. Batman isn't scary in the comics because "He looks like a bat" because he doesn't.The reason why Batman is feared is based on his skills as a crime fighter, his reputation as a hero. He's an urban legend when done well, where the rumors are more effective than fact.
That being the case from a purely visual veiw, while the suit doesn't meet fan ******* expectations, I think it's a great looking costume.
Ha! I would've left that bit out.

That's the one thing I didn't like about the Spider-man suit. The raised webbing was a distraction for me.
Explain how the X-Men suits made sense in a way that Lujho's suit does not.No because the X-men suits made sense.
Oh, please. If they wanted it to look like it was made by a cheap teenager, they failed.Spider-man works because it's supposed to be something designed on the cheap by a teenager.
So? How, precisely, does this make the Lujho's mock-up "silly?"The Batman costume in the comics looks the way it does for the sake of expediency, meaning it's something that can be drawn quickly and is easy to replicate by multiple artist.
This, too, does not explain how Lujho's mock-up is silly. For a film version of Batman, acharacter who is essentially an urban commando, I've always liked the idea of the armored suit.

The thing is, though, is that a lot of it isn't just 'fan wankery;' it's generally a badly designed suit. From the manbra to the subway-map legs to - well, on and on.
