I don't know who this is. Pics? Cuz we might agree here. I was just simply saying an appearance that is clearly armored wouldn't be that much out of left field. To me at least.
That would make a ****ing sick batsuit
Wow, his t*ts really look incredible.Artists/sculptors who FAIL anatomy 101 really bug me. *sigh*
It looks like....nylon... And i dont like the seams. That would make a ****ing sick batsuit. What character is that?
I'm not a fan of them personally, but if you want a movie to be successful and appealing to everyone, you have to raise the popcorn-level.
If you just put "I agree with all decisions made by Warner Bros and their appointed directors" into yout sig, then you needed bother to type out whole posts.while i appreciate everyone's right to their opinion none of the alternative ideas for a batsuit presented in this thread are better than what we are getting imo.
if batman loked like that nighthawk guy fans would be alot more upset than they are now. and that patriot costume as a basis for a batsuit? seriously?

Honestly, I'd agree with the guy but 1 or two manips have won me over. The current Dark Knight suit is actually one of the best concepts for Batman I've seen in..well, since I saw the upgraded Batsuit from Forever (the super high-tech one) and the Beyond suit.If you just put "I agree with all decisions made by Warner Bros and their appointed directors" into yout sig, then you needed bother to type out whole posts.![]()
Explain how? It would just be the regular batsuit with some weight and texture added to it. And black, maybe. Leagues more faithful than a million armour plates.if batman loked like that nighthawk guy fans would be alot more upset than they are now.
Like the Nighthawk costume, I was posting in response to the question of what Batman might look like if he were created today. The trend today is to take the normal superhero convention of from-fitting costumes and add practical dressings, like texture, and to makr the costume look a little more militaristic, while still being superheroic.and that patriot costume as a basis for a batsuit? seriously?

The Patriot costume is a good example of this. It were all black with a belt, cape, cowl, and symbol added, it would be a neat modern interpretation of Batman--and would be fairly similar to the classic costume,. except with added texture and modifications to the gloves and trunks.

Another example of how I imagine a contemporary Batsuit is Patriot's costume. Make it all black, and add the bat-elements (cape, cowl, symbol), and there you go.
As a side note, Batman would want to disguise his armour, so it shouldn't be entirely obvious.
If you want your opinion to worth something, it certainly is necessary--otherwise it's just arbitrary nonsense pulled out of the air, means nothing, is worth nothing, convinces no one, and might as well not be posted. Since you explained it anyway, you probably recognize this.i
i don't have to explain myself. unlike yourself i do not feel it necessary that every opinion be explained as nasuem.
That was the idea. The question was what a modern batsuit would look like, and I proposed the Nighthawk costume (and the Patriot costume) in that it's elements, applied to a batcostume, would be what a modern Batman costume would look like. This obviously isn't about the bird elements, the eyes, or the mouth covering--it's just about the attitude taken to design the bodysuit and the more practical attitude of the costume, which meshes well (instead of overpowering) the stylistic animal and superhero elements.but, outside the color and the minimal use of texture, wrinkles, and seams to give the costume a slightly more realistic appearence, i see nothing else that would translate to a good modern batsuit. the face looks, well, like a bird and a bat cowl that covered his lower face would be a poor choice. IMO of course.
And the modern style is all I was talking about--though, I imagine the general design of the jacket, gloves, and pants would work fine, too. As I said, all we're really talking about is what batman might look like if he had been created today.and again, outside of the modern style in which the suit was executed, i see nothing in the patriot's suit that would make for a good batman.
An example of my Patriot idea(obviously the belt should be replaced with a standard utility belt, similarly coloured):

Um, you guys are using drawings of other comic book characters as examples of what you think would be a better idea for a live action batsuit?
Dear Saint, that manip is ******ed!
Thank you!
No I think they are showing examples of what the suit would look like if Batman was developed today. In the comics.

Seems okay for people to use cheap fanfilm costumes as a basis for why a classic design couldn't work.Um, you guys are using drawings of other comic book characters as examples of what you think would be a better idea for a live action batsuit?
