No one is forcing you to be a part of this conversation.
Rewatching Captain America, it's still so great... and Steve is easily MCU's best character/hero.
He's got the best trilogy, he's the best part in both Avenger's films... and he has the neatest cameos throughout the rest of the films.
I'm going to have to take a whole box of Kleenex just for The Star Spangled Man's last appearance.
You got Cap as the best part of both Avengers films?
What epic moments did he have in those films that compare to guys like thor and Iron Man?
Cap had many. When he first starts giving the team order in the battle against the Chitari, when he saves that crowd of people by himself (before the bomb sends him on top of a car), love when he steps in front of the German guy, in AoU he took on Ultron alone and was holding his own, etc. Cap had plenty of awesome moments.
Chris needs to up his game. All the other Chris' are blazing past him with roles and fandom.
Hopefully his next directorial project is a lot better than his debut.

I didnt say he had none.
The other poster said he had the best parts. Im wondering how his parts compare to guys like Thor and specially Iron Man.
For example, nothing you just named compares to Iron Man whupping Hulk in AoU or saving New York from the nuclear blast in Avengers.
Depends on your definition. As far as favorite moments, I prefer Cap telling Hulk to smash over the nuke or the AoU fight.
Well for sure if we are talking about best meaning favorite then anything goes.

'Best' is just as subjective as 'favorite'. Even among actual critics. Read the reviews for Avengers 2012 and each one will differ on what they considered the 'best' moment of the movie. Ergo no one is wrong for preferring the "Smash" scene to any other.
What criteria are we judging by? Are you saying Captain America needed to slay the Hulk to have a "best" moment? Are you just talking in terms of OP powerful moment? What are you trying to argue?
Sure, but certainly if we say one character amongst many had the best parts that means a comparison was made at some point.
So if a comparison is made about what is 'best', thats a conversation we can have.
Im not trying to be mean or argue with anyone. I was just asking a question.
Im admittedly more of a 'highlight' guy. The 'smash' quote is more of a geeky moment then a highlight moment imho. Thats just me, Im not bashing anyone with a different preference.
Never underestimate the entertainment value of the Hulk Smash. That's probably the most important lesson to be drawn here, and one that clearly hasn't been lost on the filmmakers, who have reportedly signed Ruffalo to a six-picture deal.
Tom Hiddleston's Loki, who elevates lithe, Eurotrash sneeriness to an art form.
And the actors playing the Avengers (as well as some of their non-super helpmates, including Gwyneth Paltrow as Iron Mans lady friend Pepper Potts and Clark Gregg as the loyal Agent Coulson) are such charismatic company that it comes as something of a disappointment each time the kibitzing gives way to crime-fighting, with long breaks for spectacular (and often spectacularly dull) CGI-enhanced action set pieces, including the climactic invasion of New York City by semi-organic robot reptiles.
Can't say The Avengers makes me look forward to seeing any of its heroes flying solo again, but it does establish that in smaller doses, even the most annoying Type A personalities can be amusing.

Who said Im trying to argue anything?
My point of view is that in the Avengers films, there are scenes and moments that are considered 'grandiose' or 'epic' if you see what I mean.
Its not a power level thing. For example, Black Widow taking down Hawkeye is one of those moments to me.
I dont see how Cap got the best of those scenes. Thats all I was saying. If people say that the best moments of a movie arent found in those scenes then thats fine too. Like I said, I was just asking a question.

How is that anymore grand than Cap fighting Ultron alone?
He's getting rave reviews for his debut in Kenneth Lonergan's 'Lobby Hero' on Broadway right now. He's doing fine.
anyone recall what Cap 3 would have been about if they didn't go with Civil War?
Is it true that we'd have gotten more of Falcon and Sharon Carter?
