Captain Marvel film or a superhero film in space like Nova, Quasar, etc.

With the announcement that DC just changed the Big Red Cheese to just Shazam, this is the perfect time for Marvel Studios / Disney to capitalize on a Captain Marvel film.

Just like what Marvel has done with Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Hulk coming together in the Avengers, they should really move into the next phase of Marvel films in space with other space superheroes including Captain Marvel, Nova, Quasar, Drax, and Guardians of the Galaxy and have them all come together against Thanos in Annahilation!

Guardian's of the Galaxy is allegedly in development. I think Captain Marvel (along with many other cosmic heavies) could be introduced in that movie but I would rather see a solo Captain Marvel.

I'd be really interested in seeing a Captain Marvel/Nova/Adam Warlock/Quasar movie, with the original Avengers protecting Earth while the "Cosmic Avengers" are humanity's official off-world heroes dealing with threats in space. The Guardians could be a more independent, or an unofficial black ops/Thunderbolts style group who also occasionally look out for human interests.
