I didn't mean of a rape/attempted rape scene.I was thinking of a part, something like what Catwoman did to Batman in Batman Returns, when she first touches his chest slowly and then pierces her claws in his belly.Maybe Cletus/Carnage could do something like that to a woman who gets in his way

In regards to that - does anyone else here remember Brad Pitts perfomance in 12 Monkies? I know I'll get lynched for saying this, but when I saw that, I remember thinking he'd make a good Carnage - he can be a pretty insane when he wants to be.

How about Jason Dohring from Veronica Mars? His character there was called the Obligatory Psychotic Jackass. He's a really good young actor and he is lanky and kind of goofily handsome. Otherwise, Matthew Lillard as Carnage if he's cast as young or Buscemi if he's cast as middle-aged.

I expect to get flamed for these but I have good reason for suggesting them (besides being good actors)...
1) Harry Connick Jr. - reason: go watch Copycat, he's a good serial killer.
2) Jude Law - reason: Road to Perdition, excellent creep out factor.

Another choice for casting occurred to me, it'll never happen, but I think it would be an interesting choice for Carnage. What about Jim Carrey? If anyone's seen The Number 23, he's definately able to pull off being completely insane. Just get him into shape a bit and I think he'd make a pretty decent choice.

He's never played the part EXACTLY... but I don't want an actor who has already done that exact part, basically. I mean, people's choices here are kind of unimaginative. Matthew Lillard, Robert Knepper, Jake Busey, Cillian Murphy... people are picking them because they've basically already played Carnage. Eric Stoltz has played sociopathic criminals before (see Pulp Fiction and Killing Zoe), and he's always given off sort of a deranged air, at least to me.

As for Eric as Carnage, I used to think he'll be good but not anymore since he's getting older and I'm not sure he can play the part as a grade A looney tune killer

Definitely more proof that Carnage should never be in the movies.

Get real guys there ain't gonna be no Carnage in any of the subsequent films.
SM3 Venom sucked harder than an industrial vacuum cleaner, using the symbiotes is a BAD idea, it’s just too likely to come off cheesy and crap again, plus Venom is now dead and the symbiote was incinerated meaning Carnage is impossible.

Carnage is crap anyway.
Lizard, Mysterio, and Kraven are all WAY better and actually have substance.

Seriously, there’s more chance of Howard the Duck being the villain in SM4.

These moviemakers could come up with anything you know. I think they could find a suitable way to bring Carnage into SM4 without using Venom.
