Cartoon Network to become "Network"

Boomerang lists it as The Real Adventures of Johnny Quest but they show the original instead :(

Meh. I still have to watch the show all the way through. I remember Cartoon Network started showing it at a new time I couldn't watch it at or something, so I missed like the last few episodes of the first season and only caught a few episodes of the second (totally different-looking) season.

anyone remember this, btw its one of the best intro ever imo

That is a pretty sweet opening. Never got into the show, though. Both animations, 2D & 3D looked pretty bad. I guess cuz they sPlit the budget between the two.

the tv movie that led into that series was very good...Race came across Jade for the first time and you find out why Zin hates Dr. Quest so much

The first animation style, which I think was done by a French studio, was really cool. It wasn't exactly the most fluid animation ever, but they used brown for all their linework, which was interesting and gave it a very distinctive look to me. The second animation house made it look like a more modern version of the original Jonny Quest cartoon, which I didn't like much (the animation, I mean; I loved the original JQ cartoon).

I miss Toonami and anime in general on CN. Really, I mean, Adult Swim make sit clear they hate anime, but they still give it Saturday's. CN had really good success with all it's anime,e specially Naruto. but guess what? Not even Naruto comes on anymore. All CN has left going for it is SW: Clone Wars, and then some of the Adult Swim lineup. Also, I used to love G4. Then they got TechTV and it was still pretty good, albeit some of the TechTV stuff got canned. Then like a year later, G4TechTV folded, and became SpikeTV2 or what have you. Really, do they feel so compelled to show Cheaters and Cops 8 times a day. Ah, X-Play, Portal, Players, Pulse, Icons, Filter, The screen Savers, Banzai, and Anime Unleashed are severely missed by me.

Cartoon Network has limited it's "CN Real" shows to just 23 showings throughout this week.

An awesome Christmas in July marathon today followed by an old school Scooby-Doo Marathon tomorrow. They also had marathons of Teen Titans, Edd Ed N' Eddy, and Johnny Test this week.

Tom & Jerry is replacing SlamBall this Saturday & Sunday at 12pm.

It looks like Wednesdays & Thursdays are turning into marathon days:
Teen Titans will air from 10am-6pm on Wed 8/5.
There will be a Tom & Jerry marathon next Thursday, August 6 starting at 10am:
There will also be a Billy & Mandy marathon on Wednesday, August 12 from 11am-5pm:

Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker is scheduled to air on 8/8 at 8 PM

This is good news I love Christmas in July. I do miss June Bugs however. And Billy and Many marathon...count me in

Billy and Mandy is just one of those cartoons that looks stupid at face value, but then you sit and watch it and realize how clever it is

It's so great. Grim and Irwin are my favorites. I have a friend who reminds of Mandy too. She hate when we tell her that.

I try to watch Secret Saturdays when I can. They took it off Friday nights at 7 and got it on at 7:30am on Saturday mornings. My ass ain't up that early, damn it.

I remember enjoying the bits and pieces I caught of that. Mandy was lovably snarky.

Wasn't a fan of Mandy but I did like Billy, Grim, and some other characters from Evil Con Carne like Skarr.

i think Billy and Mandy was the last great cartoon show on CN
ever since they showed Star wars on CN i was turned off

Yeah, like Phineas & Ferb. Even if you don't catch onto it, you won't change the channel when it comes on.
