First Avenger Cast the Invaders

Whizzer shouldn't be in the film. His suit can't be adapted well, and his name just screams to be made fun of.

"The Whizzer is taking a piss!"

"The Whizzer is the color of whizz!"

"The Whizzer whizzingly whizzes yellow whizz!"

"The Pisser"

It's ENDLESS...

Call him Robert Frank (or Bob, or Robbie, or Robert, or whatever variation you want) for the most part. Just like Bucky will probably call Cap Steve. Problem solved.

By the way, I only included him for nostalgia's sake (as I mentioned). I don't think he'll make it onscreen. :yay:

The Invaders:

Union Jack - United Kingdom.
Spitfire - Germany.
Destroyer - Russia.
Silver Scorpion - China.
Black Marvel - Africa.
Captain America - America.
Why would a German call themselves Spitfire??

Keep the classic Invaders:
Namor
Cap
Bucky
Union Jack
Spitfire
Human Torch (The original not Johnny Storm, I doubt he'll make it though)

Tom Hardy or Michael Fassbender for Union Jack!

Would be epic indeed. Hardy is my favourite actor at the mo, he needs more mainstream work.

Indeed he does, as long as that mainstream doesnt dilute what makes him so good - his capacity to go somewhere unconventional with a role. To a place other actors wouldnt.

His UJ would look mighty cool alongside Evans' Cap though.

Yea good point. Wouldn't want him to sacrifice his integrity as an actor to become more commercial.

Did you see that Sky 1 series The Take Bri? If not check it out, there might be episodes on the net. He was immense in that.

Saw the adverts but missed out on it.

Still cant beat Bronson for me, in terms of Hardy performances.

Well yea that was probably one of the best acting performances i've ever seen. No hyper bole. More people need to watch it, even though it's a pretty ****ed up film that a lot of people probably won't like.

hopefully joe and/or marvel will make a comment soon on which invaders they are going to go with.

I saw the Take, he was excellent in that...

Hello all: Is there anyone from Marvel Studios who posts answers to our questions? I may be over-reacting, but Namor is a vital member of the Invaders. Could Universal "loan" him out to Marvel Studios, if they have no plans for a Sub-Mariner film? Best regards, Madelow.

well if universal still has the rights they might want to work on character on their own out of marvel studios banner and all that like fox and sony have with the guys they have film rights too. Plus we are not sure which invaders they are going to go with.

im just hoping The Destroyer makes it in, tho id love to see Namor and the original Torch.

I just would like to know which ones are likely on the table to be used and which ones are offically not able to be used. Then of course the big question will they have powers(the ones they do) or will they just end up being regular humans with excelent skills like bucky/union jack.

yup, thats a good point Webhead, guess we,ll get our first hints at what Invaders are gonna be in it when more casting news comes out. we may not know about powers for a while.

totally, hopefully joe and/or marvel will make a mention of which invaders they are using before we hear of any one signed on for which ever invader they will be. Though i would perfer to have them be non powered but highly skilled folks myself. So it makes cap feel special/unique and the only other one that should be different in the 40s is red skull if they say he is a product of a nazi version of the SSS gone wrong or what not. If we got guys who have super speed, or say the andriod torch fully flaming on it would make cap feel less special/unique which cap should be in the 40s. IN modern times its different with more super beings around/changed.

i actually feel other guys having powers makes Cap more special. he doesnt have the advantages they do and yet he still is on the frontlines doing amazing things. and the SSS opens the door for the Invaders being superpowered, but maybe with side effects like a shortened lifespan or something. i cant see the whole world just standing idly by while America has the only Super Soldier, even our allies. especially Russia. and considering our relationship with England i can see us maybe sharing the SSS with them. but of course it might not work the same on them as it did with Steve causing a myriad of side effects that could be considered superpowers. but in reality may be a death sentence.
