It’s kind of a shame they don’t reverse it. Older, more mature Jon with a more bombastic Hal.

Then you can have someone like denzel for John and Andy samberg for Hal

There are a lot of ways they can go- rookie Hal or older Hal, rookie John, mentor John...It can be like the First Flight movie where rookie Hal is mentored by a corrupt Sinestro. Or they could have Sinestro as a fully-fledged villain that the Corps have been fighting for years. They've just got to bite the bullet and pick one. They should find a director who can help develop it and decide. Or if they get someone like J.J. Abrams overseeing it, figuring it out that way (might take a while, though.)

After everything that happened with the Ryan Reynolds movie it does feel like a lot can easily go wrong. It would need a high budget and strong vision to really work. It should be a pretty epic movie or planned trilogy.
