No Bane!!!!!! There are so many other great villains to choose from! Bane had one good storyline that when you think about it wasn't THAT good. Plus his mask looks like a mexican wrestling mask. Do you really want to see that over Riddler, Catwoman, Penguin, even Clayface?

Cause hes a physical threat that Batman hasnt faced yet. And hes not the dumb guy that grunts in Batman and Robin. And his mask doesnt look anymore like a Mexican wrestler mask than anyother masked comic character unless you count the animated series version which besides the Mexican wrestler mask was pretty damn entertaining and well adapted.

And a thread that says Casting Call (All Villains), we're allowed to discuss any villain. If i want to cast Maxie Zeus and pitch why he could be great, I'll will do as I please

I know he's not the guy who grunts from B&R but I don't think he's a great villain. He was a character quickly thought out to gain hype for a publicity stunt. That's why DC hasn't used him in anything good since. Yeah, the BTAS version of Bane is cool, I'll agree to that, but was it that much cooler than any other character on that show? Hell, they made Lock-Up cool! I don't want to see him in a Batman movie either.

I can respect your opinion on this, I just think that the characters with more history would be used better than a once around character. Also, I don't see WB hyping up Bane to the masses.

Joaquin Phoenix should play Black Mask.

I think he can play that weirdo/tough guy role pretty well. You can have him talk to his mannequin girl in some scenes.

Bane suddenly makes a weird kind if sense now that I've seen TDK. I wouldnt be against him appearing at all. There couldn't be any broken spines though i don't think, nor a jailbreak. And I'd like to see them become uneasy allies in the end.
