what If we had Lex luthor in Gotham... I don't have a reason for him being there yet, but the idea stuck me as I slept.

This is not at all what was in your original post. In any case, I'd say TDK Joker was even less a depiction of a "real life person", considering how this take was an absolute monstrous entity that could not be stopped. He brought an entire metropolitan city down to it's knees within days, conceived plans that were flawless, and had a supernatural aura in how he would always be one step ahead of everyone. I don't know what exactly is so realistic about that, because the Nolan's certainly didn't write him to be on the same level as Bundy and Manson. I think it was Jonah himself that noted in an interview that there was an intention to place Joker as a higher echelon of evil. Above human standards, like the Norse god, Loki.I'm sorry but yes it does. In reality, yes of course it was based on the comics... It would be beyond stupid to say other wise, but that is not what my point is. My point is that this joker is written as a real life person, like Jack the Ripper or Ted Bundy or Charles Manson and not a comic book villain. Which is awesome!
Yup. Thank you.Well thats not what you said at all. You said "is meant to be the first, the original, the real deal" not implying realistic joker but the first and true portrayal of the joker. But at least your clear now I guess
It'd only make sense if it was a crossover with Superman. Otherwise, Lex doesn't have any business there. Batman has his own rogues gallery that deserve to be on film first.what If we had Lex luthor in Gotham... I don't have a reason for him being there yet, but the idea stuck me as I slept.

Looks more like batgirl to me![]()
Briana Evigan for Selina Kyle..yes i know she was in that Step Up movie, but she was also in the video for "Numb" by Linkin Park and i really liked her in that. Plus, she fits the mold of Nolan's "left field" casting choices. Just a thought

A music video? You want this chick to play the leading female character because you liked her in a Linkin Park video? Are you f'cking serious. Commercials has even more cred.Briana Evigan for Selina Kyle..yes i know she was in that Step Up movie, but she was also in the video for "Numb" by Linkin Park and i really liked her in that. If a person is real then he is the first. Take me for instance I am the real Mark Strange. If someone wrote a book about me Which I find unlikely at this point lol then that book would be a characterization of me not ME.
Heaths Joker took the above principle and turn on its head. Watching him, I felt that this IS the Joker rather then an interpretation of the joker. I believe this is what was intended; if not, it was a great accident.
By this reasoning, there is absolutely no limit to this "left-field" casting mentality. We could suggest Doc Manhattan's glowing, blue penis as a villain, and it'd theoretically be left-field.Briana Evigan for Selina Kyle..yes i know she was in that Step Up movie, but she was also in the video for "Numb" by Linkin Park and i really liked her in that. The difference between you and the Joker is your not fictional. This argument would work for George Washington but not Joker. Heath's Joker is in fact by definition an interpretation of the Joker. There is a gigantic difference between real and realistic.

But what Im saying is. Heaths Joker = The Perception of the Real Joker.
