The Dark Knight Rises Casting Call (All Villains)

With boobs like that Christina Hendricks can pick any role she likes! :awesome:

I don't understand why people keep suggesting bald actors to play Mr Freeze. It is like suggesting only actors with scars to play Mr Zsasz.
I know. Its like we wont pick the no1 best actor for the part because the trouble, time, and cost of shaving his head is just waay too much.

Maybe a CGI special effect could give the appearance of a shaven head? It would only cost a few million dollars- far less than a haircut.

I know what you mean; they could shave any actor's head for the role either way. Or give him like a snow cap to wrap around his head; that would make a little more sense if anything. Zsas would be different to cast though; however I would have liked to see the guy from Begins who actually played him return. If you ever played the PS2 game they released a little while back for the movie, the way they wrote his character for the game was actually really cool.

So, maybe Edward Norton for Zsas and Christoph Waltz for Freeze? :yay: I know he's more favored for Black Mask or even Riddler, but I think that would be a different and cooler revenue for him to play. And maybe perhaps James Purefoy for Black Mask, Ricky Gervais as Oswalt, and Hans Matheson for Riddler?

I'm having a hard time coming up with an actor to play The Riddler.

However, after seeing Alice In Wonderland, I have no doubt Depp could play The Joker. (AKA: The picnic table scene in AIW)

Catwoman/Selina Kyle: Sienna Miller

Penguin: Michael Gambone (Layer Cake)

As for Joker, I think Brad Pitt could do an amazing job . Depp would be good as well.

After watching Road To Perdition I think Daniel Craig would make a good Black Mask.

How about this?

James Purefoy as Roman Sionis/Black Mask-

and i like jeremy renner as deadshot.

I was just reading 'under the hood' and I gotta say, for all of black mask's lines I kept hearing James Woods' voice. After considering it, I think he would actually be a really great choice for the role, if black mask is in the third movie.

Argh. Now I, too, will only ever hear James Woods when I read Black Mask's lines.

I think that Sam Worthington would be the perfect Hush he's a big good looking dude. And you know he could do the action scenes from his other movies (Avatar, Clash of the Titans) And he and Bale have worked together before and have good chemistry.

but what actor cant do action?

Some villains I hadn't thought about in a while are Hugo Strange, Rupert Thorne and Calander Man.

Though these guys aren't as well known as some of Batman's other enemies, I think they each could fit well into the Nolanverse. I would love to see Calendar man used in the same way he was in The Long Halloween, in sort of a Hannibal Lector-type capacity, helping Batman solve the crime from his jail cell but enjoying every minute as things go wrong.

As for the other two, Hugo Strange is as brilliant as he is psychotic, and I personally always found him even creepier and more disturbing than the Joker. He could be easily fit into the story, perhaps as the guy who took over for Crane and Arkham (which sounds a little too convenient... but not if the League of Shadows is still around, pulling the strings). Thorne is the classic dirty politician; Nolan could easily fit him into the story as well, especially if corruption is still running rampant through Gotham. As for casting... hmmm....

Calendar Man - Toby Jones
Hugo Strange - David Thewlis
Rupert Thorne - Brian Cox
