How do you like Martin Freeman as the Riddler?

I probably agree, but for the sake of argument I wanted to see the reaction to Freeman.

He is actually wearing something the joker would wear in this pic.

I agree that Liotta as Maroni (which I believe I originally came up with, sorry if someone else did) and Paul Sorvino as Thorne would be excellent casting. I also think Brian Cox would be a fantastic Thorne.

So no one else likes Freeman for Riddler? Just for that he has now become my number one guy.

FREEMAN FOR RIDDLER DAMNIT!

FREEMAN FOR RIDDLER DAMNIT!

I like the idea, and I would not mind if he was casted. I just think there are actors out there who are better suited for the part.

Like Goldblum. Or Edward Norton. Or Eric Stoltz. Or John Malkovich (though I want him for Hugo Strange). Or David Hyde Pierce.

Those are my top 5 choices for the role.

Sorry, but I'd prefer Norton for The Riddler.

if I was honest I probably do to, but I want to be rooting for some under the radar candidate, so Freeman's my guy.

cool choice for a rarely unknown actor for the riddler.

It's different and he would probably do a really good job at it.

Martin Freeman as The Riddler? I could see him play the role but I never seen him taking serious roles before, I don't want anther of Schumcher's Riddler on screen.

Well it's not schumaker it's nolaan and he wouldn't make that mistake.

It would all be under Nolans direction so there is no risk of that, plus it would take a lot of less-than legal substances for Freeman to ever get as whimsical as Carry was as the Riddler (or whatever he was).

I think Martin Freeman's wrong for The Riddler. His appeal is that his screen persona is that of a schlumpy everyday guy who's always bemused by the situations he finds himself in. The Riddler needs to be sharp, angular, and intense.

I could see Freeman playing that though, I can't tell you why but its just a gut feeling. Plus I think he has a certain look to him I see in the Riddler.
