The Dark Knight Rises Casting Call (All Villains)

I'd love to see Christopher Lloyd as Mr. Freeze. That could be awesome!

He'd be great but he's a tad too old.

Yeah, but I cant get over his voice doing the role. He has such a monotone voice when he has too. Most of Who Framed Roger Rabbit was done mostly with a monotone voice. He would be perfect for a cold hearted villain.

He could still do it, no doubt.

My Top Picks for Freeze are Lance Henriksen, Sam Neil, Jeremy Irons, Alan Rickman, Christopher Lloyd, Ed Harris and Ben Kingsley

Ben Kingsley as Mr. Freeze. Nuff said. He should also play The Vulture in "SPIDER-MAN" too.

If not Ben as Mr. Freeze than Patrick Stewart. Afterall, if James Marsden can play Scott Summers and Lois Lane's love interest than why can't Patrick play double-duty.

Christopher Lloyd will always be my top choice, but if you want to go younger Daniel Day-Lewis is the man.

Jason Isaacs is the best choice for a young Freeze, but Day Lewis could work also.

Daniel Day Lewis to me is more of Kraven the Hunter.

Either or is a good pick but Oded Fehr's only breakout role has been as Ardeth Bay in "The Mummy."

Daniel Day Lewis proved he can be a bloodthirsty/coldblooded hunter and killer in "Last of the Mohicans" and "Gangs of New York."

What about Sleeper Cell? That did very well critically. I never saw it though. i dont have Showtime.

These are the only villains I really expect to see in Nolan's trilogy. A couple are longshots, though.

Joker - Tim Roth (Pulp Fiction, Planet of the Apes, Reservoir Dogs, Invincible, Rob Roy)
or
Lachy Hulme (Four Jacks, Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course, Enter the Matrix)
Harley Quinn - Amy Adams (Junebug, The Wedding Date, Catch Me If You Can)

Harvey Dent / Two-Face - Joaquin Phoenix (Walking Tall, Signs, Gladiator, Buffalo Soldiers, Ladder 49)
or
Liev Schreiber (The Manchurian Candidate, The Sum of All Fears, The Hurricane)

Roman Sionis / Black Mask - Jake Gyllenhaal (Jarhead, Brokeback Mountain, Proof, The Day After Tomorrow)
Rupert Thorne - Albert Finney (Big Fish, Oceans 12, Erin Brokovich, Traffic, The Gathering Storm)
Sal Maroni - Gabriel Byrne (The Usual Suspects, End of Days, Spider, Assault on Precinct 13, Ghost Ship)
Alberto Falcone - Jason Schwartzman (Rushmore, I Heart Huckabees, Shopgirl, Slackers)

Oswald Cobblepot / Penguin - Timothy Spall (Prisoner of Azkaban, The Last Samurai, All or Nothing, Lemony Snicket)

Selina Kyle / Catwoman - Charlize Theron (North Country, 2 Days in the Valley, The Devil's Advocate, The Italian Job, Monster)

Ed Nygma / The Riddler - Peter Sarsgaard (Jarhead, FlightPlan, Garden State, Kinsey, Shattered Glass)

its funny that of all the quality movie jolie has made, you choose the worst one to present as her movie
really?
you found Mr & Mrs Smith to be worse than Lara Croft 1 and 2, Beyond Borders, Taking Lives, The Bone Collector, Life or Something Like It, and Alexandar?

That's exactly my point.

I know it wouldn't go along with the storyline, but they ought to add new villains. Foes like Joker, Penguin, Catwoman, Riddler, Two-Face, Mr. Freeze, Bane and Poison Ivy have already appeared in films. It would be cool to see ones who haven't, like Killer Croc, Black Mask, Mad Hatter or Ventriloquist to name a few.

i hope Bane doesn't come back....never liked him much.
i wouldn't mind seeing a completely revised Mad Hatter, or cameos/minor roles from Killer Croc, Black Mask, Firefly, or Ventriloquist (even if he is lame, Nolan & co could probably do something cool with him.)

Well It is a reboot to the new franchise, WB & Nolan are gonna use old foes whatever you liked or not.

It seems that it's some newbies don't like the reboot to the new franchise.

Terrence Howard anyone? This guy has proven himself as a very versatile actor...I'd much rather see him than Josh Lucas try to kick his accent.

i could see it.
he'd pwn in the role too, he's an amazing actor.

interesting choice, he is a big actor right now now he has been in freakin everything.

actually he's been in everything for past 5 yrs or so.
trust me, look him up on IMDb, and you'll see movies he's been in that you don't even remember him being in. it's insane how big his resume is!
