I like the Paul Bettany rumors...but that one is anyones guess...the steve carell idea isn't gonna work...I think the film makers will need to dig deeper to find the right person to play Joker. Who else is rumored to be a character in this one?

I've seen separate threads for the casting of individual villains and/or villains who haven't been used in the prior Batman films, but how about a thread where we list any and every villain and who you'd like to see play them in one thread... Assuming this Bat-franchise goes on as long as the Bond series, cast any villain you'd like from A-list villains such as the Joker and Two-Face to obscure villains such as Abbatoir and Steeljacket.

Here's my ideal cast for future Bat-villains...

Man you did a great job with all those life like looks, I think you hit the nail on the head. But heres an idea for Two-Face... Joaquin Phoenix, this guy seriously can play a role that is bipolar or schitzo. His Gladiator character had critics crying and screaming at him at the same time. He'd be perfect.

I Think Bettany could pull off a good joker. But he wouldnt have been my first pick. I dont know why, but i could imagine Kelsey Grammer as a pretty interesting Joker. The Joker has always been portrayed as an intelligent criminal, i think Grammer could put an interesting spin of BB2. Grammer showed he's open to a wide variety of roles nowadays when he played Beast in X3. I think he could continue this and pull off a pretty sweet Joker.

welcome Bstringer but i would have to disagree he was great as beast but i don't think i could accept him as Joker and the joker isn't really that intelligent he is just that crazy.

Grammer would've been great as The Riddler when he was younger, but I can't see him going off the deep end for The Joker. He's also way too hefty and he's too old as well. I can see him as The Mad Hatter, though. And yes, he was excellent as Beast.

the Rock couldn't play him...neither could some of the other names I've seen...like Nathan Jones....even though looks-wise, he's the closest...but I'm not buying him being smart....
