The Dark Knight Rises Casting Call (All Villains)

I turned away from Wizard a long time ago.

Unless a reliable source says so then I might beleive what they say.

Gene Wilder as The Mad Hatter
Brad Garret as Killer Croc
Ralph Fiennes as Riddler

Wilder could have been a fantastic Mad Hatter (or Riddler) when he was younger.

Ralph Fiennes as Riddler

Fiennes was great as Voldemort in Harry Potter but I don't think he could play the Riddler. My choices are Jude Law, Paul Bettany, Ed Norton, or David Hyde Pierce.

I agree. I could also see him as The Ventriloquist, but I think he's retired.

My casting:

Joker- Right now Lachey Hulme. I don't really see Paul Bettany as Joker. I just don't get the hype around him. Sure he's played several of villains, but for the most part his films have had him be a straightman who sometimes tells jokes. I just don't find him to be this f-ed up, sick, twisted, comedic S.O.B. who should be locked inside solitary confinement in Arkyum than to release his madness and comedy on Gotham. Others who'd be good: Tim Roth or because he's done his homework on Joker (Robin Williams).

Two-Face- Liev Schriber.

Riddler- David Hyde Pierce

Mr. Freeze- Ben Kingsley or Ed Harris

Catwoman- Kate Beckingsale or Angelina Jolie

Harley- Brittany Murphy, Elisha Cuthbert, Anne Hathaway, Isla Fisher, or Reese Witherspoon

Bane- Nathan Jones

Rupert Thorne- Brian Cox, Paul Sorvino, or Albert Finney

Black Mask- Joaquin Phoenix

Killer Croc- Mickey Rourke or Rob Perlman

Mad Hatter- Andy Serkis or Martin Short

Lady Shiva- Lucy Lui

Talia- Catherine Zeta-Jones

The Ventriloquist- If Robin did not get Joker he'd be a perfect Ventriloquist and plus he could do Scarface's voice with ease.

Penguin- Bob Hoskins or James Broadbrant (I think that's his last name. He was the guy who played Henry Zidler in "Moulin Rouge.") Timothy Spall looks alot like the the new Penguin in "The Batman" show but I think Bob Hoskins is the best.

This is pretty interesting. I think it could work.

I'd personally love to see Williams as The Penguin, but he'd make a good Ventriloquist as well.

i'm seeing a lot of Hathaway as Harley, and having seen just about EVERYTHING she's done (little sister = having to take her to go see Princess movies), i don't see her being zany as Harley is.

and, after having seen Brokeback, she doesn't look too good with blonde hair.

that's the one thing i haven't seen.
but i saw the pictures where she shows her

I need to see Havoc. It just astonishes me why I haven't seen that movie yet. I definitely need to see it.

lol there really is only one reason to see Havoc - I mean sure it has a fairly good story, but it is overshadowed by the fact that Anne Hathaway proves that she is no longer a Disney Princess.

There is this one scene with Anne on the couch teasing this one kid which is just....mind blowing.

Ah, excellent.

I've seen the previews for Havoc. I am definately going to go purchase that movie.

I'd rather see Hathaway play the role of Vicki Vale and maybe she could give a good performance as Ivy.

Hathaway as Poison Ivy? Wow...you know what, at first it seemed outragous but now that I really think about it...I love it. I mean I think she is a very good actress and she shows she has the ability to play many different roles.

Plus if we got any Harly/Ivy scenes I think Hathaway and Zooey would make a cute couple :)

I don't think so, I think she'd fine.
how old do you think Barbara is supposed to be?
they showed Gordon's wife and child really quickly in BB, and by the time they would introduce her character she'd be a teenager, same as Robin. well...that is if they go with the Barbara is Gordon's daughter route.

Gary Sinise would be good for the role of Harvey Dent. He looks the part, all he would need to do would be to build a little muscle.

And I know it's not the best choice, but Crispin Glover is an interesting candidate to play the Joker.

He's too old now, but when he was younger he would have been fantastic.

DOes it matter how old they are shouldn't it be how old they look?
