Hey, I'll try to make amends. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say that I probably misconstrued it, but that's why words need to be chosen pretty carefully. The Trayvon Martin case is the top news issue on the planet right now. My friends in Norway are following it.

You straight up said that the story would be different if the victim were a minority... that's exactly the kind of propaganda that Zimmerman supporters have been using for months and months now to trivialize Martin's death. The parallel was too coincidental.

He made the right move. If he had seriously injured her, he would have been in a **** load of trouble, as one Mr. Chris Brown can attest. (Reportedly Rihanna was hitting Chris that night too, but he caused way more damage.)

However, the fact that they're reportedly still together is what makes him a puss.

The proper response to a violent attack by your partner is to withdraw and call the authorities. To escalate the violence beyond a bloody nose would have been extraordinarily foolish and could have resulted in more serious injuries, prison terms and potentially death for either Ms. Roberts or Mr. Peters. Far from a "punk move", Evan should be commended for handling this horrible incident in a mature and responsible fashion.

Hmmmm....not sure of all the details, but if he did not hit her, or fight back, but instead reported it? Nothing wimpy about him in the least. He didn't press charges, it looks like he just made sure that the situation did not escalate. Nothing wrong with that...
