Everyone knows my cynicism regarding this movie. It's been overdue for a while now, and they should hit this while the iron is hot instead of waiting too long. Right now they can print money and do anything, but they don't seem to want to have a movie featuring a minority lead or female lead. They wanted to sell a movie featuring a talking racoon and a tree that said the same line over and over again before selling the Avenger that fits much better into their universe than any other hero right now. It's okay to use his vibranium and the flying harness that Falcon wears, but they don't want to use the man responsible for it. It wouldn't shock me if they use the Quinjet in the next Avengers movie while not even acknowledging that Black Panther designed it.
I'm glad that Stan Lee is basically talking about BP every chance he gets. It's like he's forcing the issue because his tone is very different than Feige. I have a bad feeling that they're going to wait until the golden Marvel age of cinema is over to do a Black Panther movie so that they can use that Hollywood logic. "Hey man we gave you a Black Panther movie and everything, and none of you showed up. So what we only had one commercial for it, and the movie came out at the worst time of year. You should have gone to see it!"
