Sequels Chameleon or Mysterio

^maybe, if kraven is like beating, killed, or sent to jail, at the end of his movie, it could be a setup for the chameleon to come in to take his revenge in the squeal
at least that would be the only connection i could see possible working between the two

Yup... avenging the dead brother... we know how many times that's never been done in a film... very original concept bro...

Why does Sergei's brother have to be in? Was there a reference to Ra's daughters in BB??? NO... is their a reference to Havoc in Xmen? Is their a reference to Graydon Creed or Magneto's children??? NO... Things can be written out... not every storyline needs to be adapted... chameleon doesn't really fit the story about his brother taking on the Lizard... if they want a setup thats cool... but we have a lot more villains with more potential than Chameleon.

As a Chameleon fan I say No, they don't need to be in the same movie or be brothers or be grouped together in any way in the movies. Their story about being brothers didn't really work to well in the comics and they might do a lot better if they are not brothers in the movies.

SM 9 S6

There should be absolutely no relationship between Kraven and Chameleon. No need for it. We don't need another revenge plot.

Well as I've said before Mysterio is my fav baddie of them all so naturally I want to see him next.

I don't mind what sidestory he gets as long as it features parts of his origin ASM 13 which basically was a great attempt to try and frame Spiderman.

MJ has already been on stage in Spiderman 3 and easily could be given her job back but at the same time Quentin Beck will also be there with perhaps a jealous sinster mind towards MJ.

The Lizard & Mysterio for SM4 and no more major villains than two.

I still loved Spiderman 3 and I think its the best of the 3 films so far but Sandman was used enough and the ending with him was really nice.

Maybe someday he will return but for now move on to other classics.

Agreed. If they have to recast, I at least want the original actors to reach some closure on the Lizard storyline in Spider-Man 4, and then they can replace them for 5.

Given the choice of only these two villains, I vote for Mysterio hands down. But I would like to see them hold off on Mysterio for now. Bring in The Lizard.

I doubt that. Either the original cast is going to come back for 3 more movies or they recast starting at SM4. I cant see them coming back for one movie, then leaving.

There's no inherent Mysterio/Scorpion storyline, but it could work better than Mysterio/Lizard, I think, especially since it wouldn't be in place of an obviously superior villain pairing. Mysterio/Scorpion makes about as much sense as pairing Mysterio or Scorpion with anybody else... but Lizard and Kraven are perfect to be paired together.

The reason why I like these two is because it really isn't a team up like the atrocity we had in SM3... they both have their separate agendas... but they both work well as characters in the same story. In other words it won't be another tag team match like SM3 was (quite literally I might add). Plus to SPiderfan's point earlier I think these characters will bring audiences back for SM5 as long as Simmons and Cambell (as Beck) come back... even if they recast MJ and Parker because that will maintain some of the continuity between the films... and keep Raimi on board producing.

In terms of superpowers (as in powers without gadgets or tools), Chameleon has this, not Mysterio. So some of your statments are contradicting. You dont want Chameleon because he has no superpowers(even though he does), yet Mysterio doesnt.

As to which I want? I would like to see them both to be honest, so its hard to choose one over the other.

DEFINITELY MYSTERIO! A good movie is not only about action but also tension! Mysterio is a stressing character, he will bring a new level of challenge on the big screen, We saw enough of spider man as a fighter now let see him as a thinker! God knows how good spider man is when it comes to solve problems.

I agree totally and I have said from the start Mysterio can make even the strongest of minds go insane. It maybe a slow progress to develope a story thats suits him but I would opt for his first appearance ASM 13.

The basic Mysterio framing Spidey can work allowing the public to dislike the crimes he's not committed. Mysterio's ability to panic the city by creating illusions that obviously will react with the public perhaps tidal waves, killer bees, etc and cause riots or worse total panic.

I don't think he can have a problem being the main villain but it would be nice to also have another lesser baddie like Rhino or Shocker commiting crimes a few times during movie.
