Sequels Chameleon

There are many ways the Chameleon could be used in the Spider-man movies and there is atleast one great story for him as the main villain.
I had considered him being used for the benefit of the next trilogy, but he could just be in one movie and that would be fine.

I want the classic Chameleon if they do end up putting him in a sequel, not a mutation like the Lizard.

Thats not true. The Chameleon does fit in the Spider-man series as a major villain. It just takes a great and creative writer to make the Chameleon as good as he can be. Magneto even with out his powers is a very interesting character.
The next movie could be the right place for the Chameleon. All they need to do is end all the major plots in Spider-man 3 and start fresh. The start of the next trilogy.
He could be amazing, just look at the Joker. He has no powers but he is not boring.
There is a way to have action scenes with the Chameleon. Now fighting scenes, I can see where people would get sad, but if they have a great and entertaining story to make up for it, It will be exciting!

The reason the the Joker is so amazing cause he's one crazy mother ****er and Batman is human and Batman movies are combined with a compelling story and action. Now if they have Chameleon as a major villain with no one else then people will sit there and be bored of Chameleon continuning to change into people like Mystique. Now if you have Chameleon behind the brains of an operation and someone throwing the punches then I could see a good Spider-Man sequel. Maybe Vulture. But there a more villains people want to see before Chameleon.

I think you missed the point. Just because the character is not one crazy mother ****er does not mean he can’t be amazing and interesting. Its a lot more than that. A villain does not have to fight and have powers to be great.
The Chameleon can be a main villain, like the Joker in the movie Batman. He does have a compelling story and will have action.

Each person in the world has a villain they want to see before the others, so that is a not logical for the discussion.

I think it would be great to have the Chameleon as a side plot for SM4, retain elements from all his stories while having Kraven introduced for a 5th movie. They could then have The Lizard appear half way through the movie and become the major villain.

SM5- Kraven the Hunter, maybe a continuation of The Lizard. And possibly Scorpion? Who's with me? we need to see them all in action

Maybe they could change the Chameleon a little bit. They could make him an alien who has come to earth in search of the symbiote, because the symbiote holds all the secrets to his planet.

And he has hologram technology to look like anyone he wants. And since he would be an alien,he could have his laser pistol, and maybe you can also make his alien species be alot stronger than humans,so he can have some physical action with spidey as well.

I just realized I was being a little unfair with you. I apologize.
I agree with Chameleon being behind the brains of an operation.
:woot:

SPIDER-MAN 4 CHAMELEON

This is what i would like to see...

Spiderman 4: Lizard (main villain) is being hunted down by Kraven (2nd villain) Chameleon is menched.

Spiderman 5: Kraven's son is murdered by Chameleon like in the comics now its hunter vs. hunter.

Spiderman 6: Now we go back to Eddie in jail and meeting Cletus Kasady who later becomes Carnage.

Spiderman 7: Shocker and Electro and Mysterio

Spiderman 8: Vulture and Hobgoblin

Spiderman 9: Sandman and Hydroman and Blackcat, Venom (Helps Spideman)

Spiderman 10: Blackcat (good guy) Sinister Six

But if they make that many thats how I would like to see it roll out.

Now you know as well as I do, that the purist on these forums would raise all sort of Cain, if they did that. :o

Come on GoldG, otherthan Hugebear, no one feels Chameleon could be a Main villian. Now like huge bear originally said, Chameleon could be a major villain playing either a major role as the primary manipulator or a side role that has major repercussion, mist the context of the story. I've seen you adamantly say that Sam should stick to the source material and ridicule him changing the mythos of the comicbook Spidey and his lore of villains.... now you want to drastically change the Chameleon persona. You and the posters on these boards would be burning Sam at the stake and you know it.

Chameleon is a good villian but I just can not see any good fight scenes. Sorry

For a good Chameleon manip, someone should use a picture of Voldemort.

I think that they should have the Chameleon frame Spiderman for some sort of operation, similar to the story from the first issue of Amazing Spiderman, except on a much larger scale. They could have Spiderman be the true public menace and have him be hunted by helicopters and such. I'd LOVE to see the Chameleon be at least the brains behind something like this, a criminal mastermind of sorts. I agree the Vulture would work great on film to play the villain Spidey has to physically battle... somebody on this board mentioned the possibility of Ben Kingsley playing the part and I think thats perfect, although I doubt he would be down for it.

The perfect Vulture? ^

I want to see Hydro-Man he would look cool. They should have him and Electro in a movie together that would be sick.

So sick, I'll throw up at the ridiculousness of it. No way. No hydromelp at least not in a movie by himself and as awesome as Electro is, not even Maxy can hydroman's wattery ass.

Chameleon can be in a movie with out being the main villain. He would never be the main villain, but could be a big part of the plot. I have no problem seeing him.

I love Chameleon. I think he could serve in the same type of role as Sandman(one of a couple main villains). However, I believe they'd change him around. If Raimi was doing it, he'd probably use the masks as he usually goes with the old school ASM stuff. And I think that'd be cool, and it'd be a little more realistic(not that unrealistic is too weird in a movie about a human spider)

I hope they remain faithful to his first appearance in ASM #1. I know they might change a few things like the disguise vest, but they should still stay very faithful to the character.
The white mask is the best way to go for the Chameleon. The movie V for Vendetta showed that it can be done.

I watched Heroes on Monday and in the episode, they had a woman shapeshifter or illusionist. She reminded me of the Chameleon, but she is more like Mystique or Mysterio.

I like the way they introduced her and her powers. She used her powers to impersonate someone else and made you think it was really them. It was great. She is almost like the Chameleon, only he does not have powers. That’s part of the reason the Chameleon is cool. He has no powers, yet he can impersonate male individuals using masks.

If the Chameleon had a chance to grace the silver screen, it would have been in SM3. I don't think we are ever going to see him now. :(
