I read in reports (which was taken down again I think) that the opening will feature a black and white intro set in the begining of the 40's or something..
We see three kids on a their bikes (summertime)... They are coming down a city road with stores on both sides.. Suddently the two of the kids make the third kid fall of his bike as they push him.. The two other kids continues down the road laughing.. The kid gets up, and reveals bruses on his legs. Right in front of him he sees a comic book store (named something I can't remember).. He stares at it for a few, and than reaches into his pocket pulling up a few dimes.. He walks over to the door, graps the handle and walks inside. A little bell rings as he walks through the door, as it had done for many years.. The store isn't that big.. On both sides of the kid there's shelfs of comic-books, and down at the end of the store, behind the counter, there's a middleaged man. He has a friendly smile as he looks at the kid glanzing at the comicbooks all displaced. The man behind the counter looks like the kind of man who had just barely survived the depression of the war, and found this holy comicbook store a place of strength (I think it was something along the lines of that!) The kid sees a comic book that stands out from the rest. This comic book is in colour, as everything else is black and white (remember that).. He takes it down looking at it as if it was something MORE than just a comicbook.. Slowly he walks over to the counter with his eyes staring at this comicbook.. He puts it down on the counter in front of the gentle man smiling. The kid looks up at the man who's giving him a satisfying look, as if he's agreeing that this very comicbook is something to pay close attention to.. They both look down at the comic book now, and as they do, we (the audience) zoom in on it for the first time, revealing the cover that shows something unbelievable. A man in a blue suit, with a flappering red cape and an 's' on the chest is holding a car over his head! On the right upper corner it reads June 1938.. We now see the kid turning the cover over, revealing the first page, as we zoom futher in.. We see the Daily Planet, and we zoom even furtherer in until the comicbook's pages are all that's within the frame..
Here we hear some text beeing read up for us (something along the lines of what was heard in STM).. Than we zoom into the night sky up towards the stars, and from there on the superman theme starts fading in, and the opening credits begin!
PS: The images within the comic-book are propobly the art of this Chan guy.. That's what I believe they mean when saying that his work will be featured in the film.. I dont think it'll be within the opening credits (similar to what they did for spidey2!).. The art will come before the credits open up.
