Well, he certainly looks like he came out of a Power Rangers episode. Lizard was being referred to as a Goomba way before the movie was released when people were shouting "Say no this this reboot!" Everything about the movie was being attacked.

People were making remarks about the Green Goblin costume looking like a Power Ranger when the first set pics were released. It's hypocritical to acknowledge one but deny the other because you favor it.

The Goblin looks as much like a Power Ranger as the Lizard looks like a Goomba.

Also, you're going a bit overboard with the "us vs them" rhetoric. There are FAR more proponents for this series on these boards than detractors.

well on topic, I am eagerly waiting for TASM 2. I think it can be better to SM2 or at least equal it. the only thing that worries me slightly is rhino, but i can overlook one bad minor villain as long as the main villain Electro is great.

Based on what we've seen so far with the comic con footage, I'm not worried about Rhino at all other than what he might look like.

Can't see how they are the same.

Lizard was based on the 60's version (and the plan) just without a snout.
The early Lizard did have a small one but he does look more similar to the TASM lizard than the TASM lizard does to a Goomba.
