the smallville forums seems so quiet now that the show is officially over. thought it'd be nice to find all the changes from the comics that the show had. it's ten seasons so i'm sure we can come up with a lot.

Clark and Lex knew each other Pre-Crisis. Don't know it it's been put back in. With all this Silver Age Redux boos**t, I wouldn't be surprised.

Oh, and instead of Martha becoming a Senator, Pete did. Even got to be Vice President and then Pres for a while after Lex went Bats**t.

Also, Lex does have a sister.

Oh and Kryptonite has given some people powers. The Russian Zod comes to mind. ALso, all those Kryptonite men.

Epc I believe we had a thread on this topic from awhile ago. Not to sure I would have to go looking for it. But ya there is always changes from book to screen adaptions for anything. Or heck changes/ additons from one media to another.

i thought there was a thread, but wasn't sure. just figured it would be like a fun little game. i didn't mean changes as a bad thing. some changes are fine if it's done correctly. like having pete and lana different races i didn't really care about. when they finally explained how jor el came in the sixties i thought was a nice touch. but then there are some things that just scratch the head with. like perry not being the editor when superman arrives or having lex and lana marry. again, i didn't mean this thread to be a bashing smallville. just to see how many we could come up with.

kryptonians were on earth prior to krypton being destroyed(Jor-el look for fitting people to raise Clark and met people like Albert Einstein and Thomas Wayne and other kryptonians visted earth in other comics but it's past my mind at the moment)

jorel met the kents prior to sending clark to earth(Jor-el met kents in some versions and again look for fitting people to raise Clark and met people like Albert Einstein and Thomas Wayne )

clark is a part of the justice league prior to being superman(Clark met Green Arrow, Aquaman and Batman as Superboy and sometimes in the post crisis universe and sometimes time travel is used be characters like Robin, Supergirl to meet Clark when he was younger)

green arrow is mostly batman on the show(Green Arrow is basiaclly Batman with an arrow car, arrow plane, arrow cave, etc in Silver Age comics before Danny O' Neil)

On the Jimmy had a Brother named Jimmy thing. Well the origional Jimmy on the show was Henry James. His Brother was James Olsen. IT isn't uncommon for families to use the same names like that. And lots of people use thier middle name instead of thier first name. So it is believable.

But that being said I never agreed with it.

But they both didn't have the same name.

I don't think that's accurate. Superboy was the young Superman up until 1986 (never mind the TV series for a moment). There was no Superboy in either MOS or Birthright. In both series, he was a plainclothes superhero prior to getting his costume and revealing himself as Superman for the first time.

well in Masquerade Lois said Clark was saaving people in China,Buenos Aires, Turkey and other places around the world in more or less plainclothes especailly in Season 8(kind of 5-7) (which like you said is what happen which in MOS(who also saved people in secret around the World and Metropolis was more or less of his homebase for 3 years before he became superman) and Birthright) and like Superboy(more or less while comics it was just a miniture superman costume and a boy instead of man while Smallville he is called The Blur and has only the s shield) went by a different name and costume(and like All Star Superman and secret origin was saving people in secret while he's wearing a superhero costume) which is exactly what Smallville did so in a way it it accurate to the comics.
