I wouldn't mind if all of them died to be honest. Long as they keep Daphne she's hot and her power is beyond awesome. Everyone else is melodramatic and stupid.

Really, Daphne? I think she's one of the weaker characters on the show. I say keep the original cast, and stop adding so many new characters. Keep the new characters as a minor cast, if only to help develop the original cast.

im guessing the hunter intends to see if peter or someone else with abilities will try to rescue matt, something ive learned from this show is to never judge a characters motives till the next episode, or rather to never judge the season untill the finale, thats just the nature of serialised programming.

Another way of achieving this is to do what they did with Matt last ep--further discuss the limitations of his powers. Conceivably, with a power like Parkman's, he could go in and control everyone's minds, make them all take each other out, etc. However, it's been explained that there's a certain range he has to be in and that he can't in fact enter the minds of too many at once. Also, the focus that is required to do so and how this can be broken has been shown as well. It's been mentioned that Peter never achieved full control over the many powers he absorbed, so that helps limit his god-modding--I don't have a problem with multiple-ability-holding Peter for that reason. We can only have one Sylar; with too many all-powerful characters, the show loses its impact.

But Sylar needs to have an equal to balance him out, and that is Peter. I hate Peter forgetting that all that keeps him from having multiple powers is that he has to remember what Claude taught him.

But this show had a bunch of problems, but most of it comes down to lazy writing and static direction. For a show with this many FX shots, it looks so damn boring.

Some days I want it to improve and actually have characters like Clare use their powers in a cool way, other days I wish NBC will take is out to the other end of the pasture with the rifle when I see her sucking face with Prince Namor.
