Even though I liked the trailer I didnt really enjoy it. Because of the quality that is.
I hope WB releases a QT version soon. A QT HD version.

this trailer was in no way better than the international trailer. it is obvious that this trailer contained only money shots. it was teh right trailer for the right people.

i didnt read the whole thread. but did anyone else noticed that when he makes teh shirt rip that it looks like that the suit is CGI? it looks to me like when they filmed that scene he was not having the suit under. so they put it there with CGI. did anyone else notice that? it looks extreme fake. but i guess it is not finished yet.

so we saw the shirt rip and then we saw teh elevator change to superman. so you saw it all. they showed you all like last year with batman.

p.s. again i dont have a problem with this since i wanted to see it. i am talkign about the others.

Loved this new trailer. If they added the Supes dialogue into the international trailer then that trailer would rule all other trailers!

let me ask you: was this trailer so good because of what you saw or was teh trailer made very good? because i think that the international trailer was very good edited and the music was good. while this trailer looked to me like an extended tv-spot.

Clark decides to be just Clark Kent.. he goes to a bar with jimmy..when on the tv he hears of the plane..which has lois on board, he leaves to go and save the plane.. but when he rips open his shirt there is no suit..he has it in the stationary closet at the planet..

ok if the scene is played seriously than it could be right. but if they made a joke of the first shirt rip than singer i will kick your ass like lex kicks supermans.

LOL. C'mon. how does THAT scene get played seriously? Yes, it's a joke. The shirt rip isn't The Shroud of Turin. For as faithful to the Donner continuity as he's being, this little bit of subversion is welcome, I think.

Also, he flies up through the elevator shaft to talk to Lois because she's smoking up there? I thought they met for an interview. If there's another "Lung cancer, right?" moment, that's a little too on the nose. I've also heard he does the "Still the safest way to travel" line as well, and maybe one callback, dialog-wise, to the Donner film is cool, but hopefully it's not littered with verbatim dialog from Mank's screenplay in 78

Clark, Lois, Richard, Jason, and jimmy are all in the Daily Planet after close of business. A little bit earlier in the novel Perry had demanded that Lois cover the SUperman story instead of the blackout. So when Richard, Jason, and Jimmy leave to go get food for everyone. Clark tries to talk to Lois a bit, but she excuses herself to the roof for fresh air and a smoke. But Supes never lets her smoke anytime she tries.

. So thats where i think the elevator scene comes into play

Awww, that's so cute, LOL...

I like this trailer, but I think the previous version (trailer 2, I guess) is better, at least for me. This is a trailer definitely aimed for the action-lovers, while trailer 2 sets it up a bit more nicely.

I'm not feeling Spacey's Lex but it's ok,Routh's Superman is perfect IMO,his delivery and voice is beyond what i had hoped,total 180 on him from me

We are considering the possibility of the suit being inserted by CGI just for the trailer, as it has been rumored for a while now that, the shirt-rip in the movie (the alley scene) will reveal that CK has no suit on under the shirt. It's been said that he only has a white shirt on, instead.

No Im annoyed of him. Hes blaming & whining about the WB releasing to much Footage. Yet no one is forcing him to watch these things & we got to listen to him whine & moan & thats basically all he does whenever somethign new is released Video wise. Some People here should seriously start to consider leaving the Boards now. Like I said they will be showing a hell of alot more. This is nothing
