Love the posters

Next week should have a bigger jump in reviews.
I'm interested in seeing the results then.

While even in the last like 3 days we went from like 35 reviews to like 82. So they are already starting to pick up. I wonder how likely it is that the movies average score can stay above 8.

I agree.

80 is cool but Cap 1 is still underrated.

When I saw that cap 1 was at 79 a few years ago ok now 80 I was very surprised because from looking online and what not I would have thought it was much much lower. Like a 70 or even high 60's and I find the movie to be very ok. So I think it is highly overrated not underrated.

Cap is easily the best Superhero trilogy to date!

No matter how good this movie is I cant say that captain America is the best superhero trilogy because cap 1 is not that good. Ever one of the dark knight trilogy movies is way way better then cap 1 and even spider man 3 is much better then cap 1. So spider man is a better trilogy to.

I completely agree. I have never found TFA more than mildly enjoyable. They did not capitalize on the WW2 retro vibe a lot, especially with the really generic and boring final act. TWS however, is a completely solid 8/10 for me. It shares the spot with GOTG as my 2nd favorite MCU movie (the first is still IM1 at a 9/10).

I also cannot see Cap as a strict trilogy since trilogies are meant to be self-contained. For example, we did not get a side-quest of Aragorn in another bunch of movies while LOTR was going on, did we? Similarly, CW is the product of not two, but at least 7 to 8 movies of character development.

While I see what you are saying about the trilogy thing but they are still cap movies at the end of the day but cap 1 is like a 5/10 movie. Winter solider is really good though and cap cival war I think can be in my top 5 CBM that is how good it looks from previews but we will see.

Cap 1 isn't a masterpiece but I like it better than highly praised CBM's like Batman Begins and Spider-man 1.

I love Steve's origin story, Hydra, Peggy, how he becomes a respected war hero, his sacrifice, and the present day reveal.

It's a solid B and a worthy introduction to Cap.

Far better than movies in the 70's like TASM and Superman Returns.

Have to disagree. I'd rate SM3 and TDKR below TFA, so overall Cap has the best trilogy of any superhero. My opinions of course.

TDKR is just a mediocre movie at best. I'd take TFA over TDKR any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

This post is pretty good.
Well done, keep improving.

I have no doubt it will stay above 80, I want to see it above 90.

Spider-man 3 is NOT a better films than Cap 1. Let's be serious here....

Speaking as objectively as I can, TFA is easily a better made film than SM3 (and I actually like SM3).

Maybe because I'm a Cap fan but Steve pre serum jumping on the grenade, him dealing with Bucky's death, making the decision in the end and saying I had a date.

If it can get to 86 fresh reviews before another rotten is added we will reach 95%.

I dont get those kinds of comments. Boring how?

Now I'm just waiting for TWS to creep up in the 90s on RT. If another MCU film deserves to be in the 90s it's that 1.

Yeah, I don't understand the complains against TFA. The movie set up Steve Rogers magnificently, let the audience understand who he is before he became the Super Soldier, and the supporting cast (Atwell, Stan, Jones) were terrific and really created a well-rounded movie. The only complain is Red Skull, because they didn't do enough with him and I can understand why Hugo Weaving wasn't happy about it. I also would've done away with the montage and actually have a long scene where Cap and the Howling Commandos took down a major factory. But it is a good movie nevertheless.
