TS was a much bigger disappointment. It looked much more promising and alot of us were suckers to McG's words towards it. or Christ sakes I thought it was gonna be last year's TDK. It had that opportunity with the right ideas but they weren't executed well at all. It was a wasted opportunity.

IMO only one person can do justice to the Terminator series and thats Cameron

TS felt a lot longer (though it's three minutes shorter) and at least Clash has Gemma Arterton:bow: and isn't nearly as self-serious. All the Clash actors throw themselves into their roles but manage to do so without an intensity the film's flimsy storyline cannot support, unlike TS.

i just hope Gemma Arterton stop it with these thankless roles in these big blockbusters.

She's beautiful and talented but she can do better.

Well, she's doing Tamara Drew with Stephen Frears, so hopefully that will be a meaty role.

That's what I figured. At the end of the day though, was it more enjoyable than TS?

One word to describe this movie....soulless. Even the action scenes bored me. The last half hour with Medusa and the Kraken was the only thing that saved this movie from being a waste of time.

I was going to see this tonight but saw Kick Ass instead, by the look of things it was the better choice. Think I'll see Clash on Tuesay though, the cinema's always cheaper on a Tues.

I think people should grow up from Terminator. On television some intellect recently pointed out that machines won't take over the world because machines don't have ambition, that's a human quality.

It makes very little sense anybody would design a powerful computer that would kill people.

I rate this film 4/10, the CGI is the only thing I liked about this film, save your money and wait till it comes out on DVD you are not missing much.

The 3D was screwing with my eye's there were points, where I had to take of teh glasses

Saw it tonight. Eh. Felt rushed and was poorly edited.

Mads and Worthington were enjoyable, had a few good moments inbetween the both of them.

But some downright awful CG at times. Scorpion King laughable.

you are absolutely right..movies shouldnt show stuff that could never happen....they should just be about real life...:whatever:

Thoughts (SPOILERS):

-Sam Worthington proves once again that he has less charisma than a plank of wood, and is just an absolute bore to watch. EMOTE, Sam. EMOTE.
-Neeson and Fiennes were given very little to work with.
-The movie lacked soul. I didn't care about any of the characters.
-The movie ended very abruptly to me, especially the final "confrontation" with Hades, if you can even call it a confrontation.
-The Kraken was awesome, but they spend ten or so minutes building up to the final reveal, and then kill him off five minutes later.

The movie had a few good visual pieces, and I was entertained on a shallow level. But as a whole, the movie just lacked any good reason to exist.

So was this the film Liam Neeson shot when his wife died?

Even "War Games" and "I, Robot" does the concept better than "Terminator". :oldrazz:

Terminator is scrap metal.

I saw this movie last night
I gave it a 7/10
I was an enjoyable movie to watch.... some of the fight scenes could have been better IMO

The 3D is that bad? I'm glad I saw this in 2D but I am curious to see how bad the 3d is .

lol I can't believe someone wrote

"2/5 or 6/10" when mathematically those are two completely different scores lolz...

it's 3/5 or 6/10 that equivalent... makes no sense to say 2/5 or 6/10... that's like saying I'm gonna give it a 40% or a 60%...

It was okay. Not great but it didn't suck.

I would like to say that I found Medusa hot.

7/10.

I really enjoyed the Medusa scene, I've always been fascinated by her for some reason. The score was meh. The Kraken was cool. Overall, it was pretty good. I also felt like the 3D was too dark at times, almost thought I was going to fall asleep because of it.

Wish there was a counter for how many times Sam Worthington said, "I'll do it as a man" :hehe:

glad im not the only one who noticed..... thats literally all he kept saying..

the medusa fight at times reminded me of scorpion king from the Mummy Returns...

i cant believe im saying this but i think i prefer Uma thurmans medusa than this one lol, in percy jackson they at least went the route of 'temptation to open your eyes'... rather than some giant cgi snake woman who shoots poison arrows.. lol
