You mean because a bunch of heterosexual men are posting about the muscular nature of an actor and getting more in specifics about it than the lone gay guy on here?
Yeah, thats it.

I should be used to it by now but it always seems to surprise me somehow.

Wait... am I the one gay guy? or are you referring to another?:awesome:

Yea I heard a while ago he was involved with the score. Muse sound is indi rock but they use a lot of orchestra stuff too. Sounds like a good match to me.

Ugh, Muse. I mean, I realize that this wasn't gonna be the type of movie to get an old-fashioned, epic, classical score, but now my hopes are completely dashed. I wanted a real Greek mythology movie, dammit. Not this "MTV Generation" stuff.

That said, I know I'm still gonna see it. ;)

Craig Armstrong is the composer of the film. So judging by his past work and with what he did on The Incredible Hulk (a film directed by Leterrier), you can expect an epic orchestral score.

It is only reported that Muse may be doing the soundtrack for the film not the actual score.

to be fair the rock music is what makes that cott trailer so awesome imo

same went with 300 trailer

Ah, thanks for the info. Craig Armstrong's brand of "epic" isn't exactly what I was hoping for either, though. Oh well.

And the 300-esque quality is what scares me. I don't want this to be "Greek Mythology 300-style." But I'm starting to think that's exactly what it's gonna be. :(

Well Warner Brothers originally had this film planned to be shot 300 style using blue/green screen but when Leterrier signed up to be the director, he managed to convince the studio to have the film to be shot on location.

You obviously haven't listened to many Muse songs.

They combine classical/orchestra and rock in pretty much all of their songs.

muse not that good

Strike 3 against this film... how many more strikes will it earn in ILAHI's good name

First they show fake religion, then Sam Worthington's added CG leg muscles, the cost has to be tremendous for these shots for him to stand cuz as in Avatar he was wheelchair bound or sitting with those very thin wasted atrophied legs... he is always sitting down for interviews as well on talk shows and tv shows,

The other strike come from script when he himself said there are many shaky scenes or bad scenes that don't transition well

Now muse... Clash of the Mistakes in Ilahi's name should be the new name for this film... Why didn't they just get someone like another young tough like Ashton Kutcher or Jan Michael Vincent or Josh Hartnett who actually can stand and walk well and run, theyw ould save costs.. why hire someone who's legs are so weak? he's not even that great an actor...

At the risk of being a heterosexual male talking about Sam's body :hehe:, Sam's skinny legs in avatar are cgi'd to make him look wheel chair bound. His legs aren't really like that.

I've heard just about all of their songs with the exception some of their first album, and I've also seen them live. Still not a fan. They're enjoyable, but nothing special and not movie scoring material, imo. Which is why I'm glad I misinterpreted that news, lol.

Well that's encouraging, at least. Thanks for the info.
