The reason the pic is like that is so Marvel could leave us hanging as to who will be shot. Whoever this guys is he's a sniper, he knows what to aim for.

Putting her in a coma is probably the best rout to take, cause she can always come out of the coma, that would be much better than being brought back to life.

As long as MJ is alive there will always be doubts about their future, even a divorce wouldn't settle that. Kill her off though...

Your's and Marvelman's both make sense. I can see MJ getting shot, or that being symbolic of her getting caught in the crossfires of CW. Then she dies slowly in a coma, and Dr. Strange gives that to Peter. After that Dr. Strange joins NA because he doesn't wish to see anymore civilians get injured. I guess I can see that, but I can't see more than one major death coming out of CW....argghh, just 1 month til the end of CW lol and a lot of things are still up in the air.

I'm thinking she gets shot and it puts her in a coma. Not quite braindead, but pretty close. This goes on for a few months and is why he goes into the black costume. Then she either comes out of the coma or Dr. Strange// someone else with mystical abilities allow Peter to go into MJ's mind to spend some time with her. Either way, when the day is up and he's out of her mind she ends up dying.

Something like that, it would kinda be a decent storyline I suppose.

Edit; Oh yeah, the quote could also mean that their Marriage is permanent, something happens that it shows that they are going to stay together to their death. Some kind of look into the future or something where they're both old and dying toigether.
