The Dark Knight CNBC decribes what a "FANBOY" is! And yes there's a bit of TDK in it too!

That was kind of lame. Nolan didn't leak the TDK pictures.

I was sure this was going on, It makes complete sence.
I wouldnt doubt if this site(the owners of) get paid a good bit of money from studios for thier colaboration in marketing.

the real question is, WHO IS FANBOY!? ^_^

The mother of all riddles

Check that out! I thought they nailed it. Who would have known "fanboys" had such influence on the industry!

Given 90% of comic book movies have poor and mediocre formulaistic results, who'd have thought the opposite?

Well I only pay attention to Batman so yeah :p

I could careless about the Marvel crap.

I thought exactly the same. ;)

:oldrazz: With all the viral marketing going on. I wouldn't doubt it for ONE SECOND.

Maybe Nolan/WB released those pics for ONE DAY, just like they only released the prologue to specific IMAX.

And than had them taken off as if they were "LEAKED".

Personally, I think we have been played this whole time. Like a bunch of mice:oldrazz:

I totally agree. We are in Nolan's palm :yay:

"Getting good movies onto the sivler screen and kepping bad ones on the shelve"

then i guess B&R and x-men 3 fell off...:hehe:

Clearly Catwoman the movie was pushed and supported by nothing but Fanboys.

You are exactly right man. You gotta think about the people they hire for thier marketing dept. These arnt jsut guys outta college. Im talkn PhD's in Psychology. These forums are basically everything the studios marketing dept. needs in terms of demographics and direction. We are the customer and we are telling them exactly what we want. The beauty of it all is the low over head. Internet is far chaeper than TV and Radio. And the best form of advertising is word of mouth, thats where us fan-mice play our role.

very good report..but i wish we had even more power over the bigwigs in LA!!!
